Background
The Cathedral has only been recently completed after almost a century of work. Four generations of the same family of master builders spent their entire lives on its construction. Becket Stonewright, the patriarch of the family and first master builder, died almost 50 years ago but his body is entombed in the mausoleum nearby so he can keep watch over his masterpiece.
Despite its glory, many of the locals have yet to attend a service. There are rumours that Becket made some ungodly deal with dark spirits to give him the inspiration and skills required to design such a marvel. No proof of this has ever been found, but the whispers continue to this day, and still plague Thomas Stonewright, the current Dean of the church.
It is likely many could get past the suspicions, but there is a greater fear that now the Cathedral is complete, the evil forces that helped create it will return to take what is theirs.

Design Notes

Gothic Cathedral
- 01 – Nave – Regular sermons and ceremonies are held here, and this is where the congregation would sit or stand. Enormous stained-glass windows of varied designs cast multi-colours light onto the patterned marble floors.
- 02 – Transepts – Secondary entrances and exits into the Nave. A font sits filled at each entrance so worshippers can wash before entry.
- 03 – Choir – For grander ceremonies and special occasions, the upper chancel is used. When this occurs, the choir sits and provides choral music.
- 04 – Chapels – Each of the four chapels displays important objects, relics, or remnants.
- 05 – Chancel – Used by the clergy during worship.
- 06 – High Altar – The churches most treasured and holy relics are kept and displayed here. Only the highest and most prominent members of the order are even allowed up to this area.
- 07 – Cloister - A small fountain courtyard with a covered walkway.
- 08 – Monks Dormitories – Small, simple quarters with few decorations or personal belongings.
- 09 – Bathroom
- 10 – Dining Room
- 11 - Kitchen & Pantry
- 12 – Chapter House – This was once the main church, but after the Cathedral was constructed, it has been used for the Monks private worship. This area is no longer open to the public.
- 13 – Deans Quarters – The Dean is the head of the Cathedral and the churches in the region.
- 14 – Library – The Cathedral has an extensive library, many of the books have been written by the Monks themselves.
- 15 – Pond
- 16 – Graveyard – The graveyard has been here far longer than the Cathedral, at least since the Chapter House was the main church. All of the graves here are centuries old. A new larger cemetery has been built a little further into the grounds.
- 17 - Becket Stonewright’s Mausoleum
