This is the base set for this weeks maps. It includes high resolution day and night variants of every level. Higher tier patrons can get the complete set with additional variants HERE

Background

Following the successful ritual, the ground begins to shake violently. A swirling energy in the centre of the room combines the elemental forces and with an explosive rush a huge tree erupts from the ground. As the tree grows with extreme speed, so too the temple starts to lift from the ground. The surrounding landscape seems to fall away as the temple hurtles upwards. You are overcome with nausea but have to fight to not be crushed by falling debris.

Then as quickly as is begun, everything stops moving and a stillness takes over. You step outside what remains of the temple to find yourself on a small floating island, 1000s of feet up in the sky. Peering below, it seems the clouds and open blue sky go on forever in every direction. Are you even on the same plane of existence anymore?

Design Notes

Isolated Temple Ruins - Catacombs

• 01 – Antechamber – Part of the catacombs are still intact below the temple but is now open to the sky on each end. Ladder leads up to 07
• 02 – Storage Rooms – Both rooms have been sundered, some of the odd trinkets still remain in the crates and barrels.
• 03 – Crypt – A number of the nameless tombs fell from the crypt during the transition.

Isolated Temple Ruins – Ground Floor

• 04 – Temple Entrance
• 05 – Ritual Room – The ritual table is gone, replaced by a tall tree with pink and purple leaves. Replicating the ritual to try to get back is not going to be an option.
• 06 – Library
• 07 – Stairs – Stairs go up to 09. Hatch leads down to 01.
• 08 – Broken Shrines – All of the shrines have travelled with the temple, but they are broken. Their elemental symbols destroyed in the ritual.

Isolated Temple Ruins – First Floor

• 09 – Stairs – Leads down to 07
• 10 – Mezzanine – The tree sprouts upwards from the ritual room below and out through a new hole in the roof above.
• 11 – Meditation Room
• 12 – Balcony – The views of the temple surroundings are gone. There is just empty sky as far as you can see in every direction.
