Background
Although a relatively young city, Dorran has grown quickly due to strong leadership from the Dorran family who founded it just two centuries prior, and its well-established ship, rail and road links to natural resource deposits in the greater region known as the Dorric empire.
The entire land mass that makes up the Dorric Empire was completely submerged until the sea level started to drop around 300 years ago, and the Dorran family led a large-scale expedition to settle this fertile land on a continent that had been largely unexplored by the dominion of men prior to this time.
The city is in tucked in a bend in the Sarrios river that flows from the mysterious Moribund Sea to the north directly to the open ocean a few miles south. Overlooking the water from atop a hill is the cultural and central district, the pride of the city. Both education and leisure are highly valued among their society, and people travel from all over the continent and beyond to visit and partake of both.
Recently, since the tragic death of the previous emperor and his wife, the city has fallen on harder times. Many blame corruption in the upper echelons, while those in power point to an influx of newcomers. The city still continues its day-to-day life largely as it ever has, but those who happen to arrive at this point in its history may find unexpected dangers and tensions bubbling beneath the surface.

Place to hire out carriages etc. I'm afraid the creation mode version doesn't allow for direct editing, as it was commissioned from Sirinkman and I can't give away his PSDs, but that doesn't mean you can't edit it yourself using the town map building assets that are included in the creation mode set and the JPEGs/PDFs.

The western gate is based on the 'City Gates' battlemap but not labelled, and Midhsommar is not explicitly part of this city map as I made it a modular set, but you could use it for any of the suburban areas. The Market Square battlemap is part of my Ostenwold town map.

I think that some of the maps that I most use are missing and I think that they could fit perfectly: Midhsommar, The Marquet Square and City Gates. I think that try to fit all your city maps in one city it is great :D
