List of Fixes You Never Saw - v3.25.0 Edition

And now for something completely different! An invisible part of developing new content is the long cycle of testing and fixing, improving, changing, finetuning... sometimes some bugs still pop up after new content is released, but it's just the tip of the iceberg! All of this work usually remains invisible, so we thought it'd be fun to release a distillation of internal build notes for the latest 3.25.0 content update (even this list is far from complete)!

-Fixes being able to progress through Poppo Event without buying the module from the in-game shop. 

-Adds Poppo Event alternative progress condition to Step 2: Unlock Rad Poppo unlock from Mystery Bag.

-Stops awarding Rad Poppo based on the player's Steam Stats to avoid confusion.

-Added missing cosmetic select icon for Bounty Poppo.

-Readjusted Player Info tab size to prevent them from going off screen on 1280x720 resolutions.

-Highlighting some cosmetic rewards by darkening the character sprite.

-Added an icon over event cosmetics that have been obtained already.

-Fixes checklist extending beyond the "Go to Shop" button.

-Added specification that Step 2 of Poppo Event requires playing as Poppo.

-Stops Minions of the Master's Step 3 text from being updated if the player is not on that step to avoid confusion.

-To emphasize their importance, event modules were made to show up at the beginning of the "Retired Events" category. Due to this change, they will also show before any fields when browing the "All" category.

-To fill out empty space on the "Retired Events" page, the event scroller's position was changed to be positioned around the vertical center of the page instead of the top, and a wider range of events is being displayed. (5 events total: current event and two of the previous and next events)

-Fixes multiplayer progress multiplier not working properly.

-Removes instance where the game would award Cyborg Poppo to the player outside of Poppo event progression.

-Fixes a bug that would make the check that indicates that an event reward is unlocked to be rendered on the wrong position.

-Fixes an issue that was causing Poppo's Star Devourer costume to not be considered as unlocked when previewing the Poppo Event rewards.

-Updated how Mio is unlocked internally so that her unlock status is properly displayed when previewing the Master of the Minions rewards. There should be no difference in behavior or presentation as far as obtaining her goes compared to before this build.

-Fixes an issue that was causing the Beach Party bikini costumes for Suguri, Hime and Sora to not be considered unlocked when previewing the Beach Party rewards.

Fixes:

-Mutator graphic/rules (at start of game) and Chapter counter on the deck are off-center.

-Immovable Object + Warp Move causes a softlock.

-Fixed shader mishaps ⁠⁠true-disaster⁠

-Game Start Countdown 100% Reborn™️ (doesn't matter, as long as it doesn't bug -> as in, if it bugs, it was changed, so the change can be tracked down)

 -If Merchant lands on a home in Reversible Fortune, the game softlocks

-Kai Hero as Tank is not immune to Second Wind KO

-Max HP passives are weird with Bring Down the Tank

-Shifu Robot's shield does not scale with him

-Reversible Fortune stars visibly start at 0

-Single Credit instant respawn does not work

-Immovable Object + Warp Move causes a softlock.

-Mitigated: Mutator descriptions can have the text highlighting misaligned from the actual text

-[REDACTED] -> It's how it works internally, technically speaking its already perfect, unless its decided otherwise

-[REDACTED] -> No idea what is the point

-[REDACTED] -> Someone needs to decide.

Still Cannot Reproduce, reproduction steps welcome:

-Opening the mod menu crashes the game

-Mutators descriptions are super offset

Fixes:

-In Reversible Fortune, Fish a Fish mode still gives stars/wins

-In Reversible Fortune, the star requirement to go from norma 5 -> 4 and norma 4 -> 3 are the same

-In Bring Down The Tank, the norma screen still shows the standard requirements even though they're halved

-Shifu Robot's shield does not scale with him

-Mutator descriptions can have the text outline misaligned from the actual text

-Single Credit instant respawn does not work

Fixes:

-Single Credit instant respawn does not work

-In Bomberjam, the Bomb and the Dash options turned into Move options

-Reversible Fortune normas say that they require "X or more" stars

-Reversible Fortune is missing in the defines

-In Reversible Fortune, Fish a Fish mode still gives stars/wins

-In Reversible Fortune, announcer says final norma line when going from norma 5 to norma 4

-In Reversible Fortune, the star requirement to go from norma 5 -> 4 and norma 4 -> 3 are
