Ep1 Progress Report #11

Hi.

Further presentation of an end screen. 

I will continue to discuss everything using Kait as an example, since depending on the choices, the thresholds on which the conditions will be checked will also change. 

Basically, this is information for me, but I want you to have an idea of how it will work with other Li and when a given threshold can be reached.

The line on the left is the first threshold of affection of a given Li. When it is reached, then some conditions will be checked based on this. This first threshold is the open friendship path.

The line on the right is the maximum amount of points that can be earned in a given upgrade, but it differs from the path taken by the player.

This line will only give the player an idea of what the max points with a given Li will be, but again does not mean that this max applies to every path.

I don't know if you noticed, but on the 2nd screen the threshold (friendship path is set higher). In my opinion, it is normal that if a girl really didn't like what the MC did, then it will be harder for him to win her friendship. 

That's why I want to show you this because in the game, I can put the player in front of another important choice and one of those choices could be ending the path with a particular Li completely. (Second MC screw up may end the path).

The comment I recently added will appear only when the MC reaches the appropriate number of points with the Li (positive check of the condition).

Now, a few words about Amanda's screen, new girls.

With the release of Ep1 p2 I will" reset" meaning align her stats with those of Kait, Shanon and from that level, if the "romance" with her has not been ended, I will be adding new points/checking conditions. 

When the MC meets new girls, then their avatars will appear on the next "end screen", along with comments on the right but not necessarily with stats.

If you still have any uncertainty, then ask - preferably on discord. 

End of my rambling about the end screen. Now, about what I am doing. 

420 finished renders and more than 60 prepared to render (the entire scene 3 has 345 renders).

Oh man, preparing the first renders in the club, it was a nightmare. Somewhere around scene #30 I added/changed some things and I had to apply new changes to the scenes I had already prepared...

Plans and things left to do.

Ep1 p2 I will release when I finish work on scene 4. It's hard to tell me how much longer it will take, but that's my plan. The text of scene 3 I have translated, and within days I will send it to the proofreader. 

Over the coming days, I'll be posing/rendering scene 4, writing comments on the end screen, and typing what came back from the proofreader into the renpy.

Scene 4 will have 4 events. I have already prepared one of the events (104 renders — some are ready, and the rest are in the queue to be rendered). Now I am working on then 2nd event (30 renders prepared so far). I also need to add new pictures to the galleries of Kait I Shanon. 

In Ep1 p2, I will mix the system of unlocking images (some will be found on the screens as a point & click system and some will appear automatically in the gallery as certain conditions are met)
