Ep1 Progress Report #6
Added 2023-02-22 07:37:12 +0000 UTCHi.
I didn't write anything a week ago because what was I supposed to write? One sentence about what I am currently doing.
These reports that I write for you, I treat it as providing an update of the progress made, but I need to have something to write about.
Now I can write something because:
I can say that "path A regarding Li #2" in the 4th part of scene #2 I have finished β a week ago I just started working on it, so what was I supposed to write about it? So "Path A" has about 75 renders, few choices and dialogue choices.
"Path C regarding Li #3" looks similar. I'm just finishing work on it - so far I have 72 scenes ready to be rendered (some of them I've already rendered) but I don't try here to match the number of renders from "path A". How many will come out, that many will be. This is a separate "route" for Li #3, and I have to include choices in which the MC earns points with her or not.
I decided on such branching already at the beginning of EP1, in order to show the different characters of the females that the MC has just met β whether I succeeded will come out with the release of this version of the VN.
When writing a script, I try to base it on conflicts between characters, because in this case, at least there is something to discuss and build a relationship based on a dialogue and what had happened between these characters. Without creating a conflict or a "common thing", what can two people who have just met and have nothing in common talk about?
I'm saving work on "Path B" for last. I have no idea how many renders I will produce here, but surely this path will require more work from me.
I am saying this because in the shot I will have 3 characters that I have to pose, and for that I have to work hard to fit all chars into the memory of my graphics card.
If I don't do this, then daz3d throws an error which further extends the work of producing 1 renderer.(reloading the whole scene etc.).
That's all. I'll write another report in a week's time, in which I'll address what's left to do once the "plot" part is behind me.
