Ethical non-monogamy in all its forms requires baseline comfort and trust, and a willingness from all parties to communicate often, thoroughly, kindly, and honestly. It requires you to analyze and deconstruct your insecurities, and to make effort toward personal progress at all times. It's beautiful when you get people who really want to do the work to get the joy, but it is not easy and you will struggle greatly if you're not prepared. Start with books and podcasts. Don't start with moving a brand new partner in.
