I worked at sprouts for a bit in the bakery and I over heard stupid deli talk a lot and one day, I overheard one clerk being a rancid bitch to another clerk and when the chick stormed out angrily, the stupid bitch looked over at everyone else just gawking at what happened and had the nerve to say “I’m a Scorpio, it’s what I do.” And from that moment forward I will never fucking respect anyone that talks to me about bullshit astrology. The same bitch then a few days later had some bottled water with her and was telling everyone about her new fad diet only drinking alkaline water and says “guys it’s great and good for you too, it has a lot of pH in it.” I really struggled, I can’t tell how much strength it took to not correct her because I fucking knew she’d attack me for it thinking I was calling her stupid (which to be fair, I very clearly knew she was).

The whole notion of saying there was no strategy was bothersome. Gameplay has been stiff considering SBMM and SND relies heavily on the offensive side I agree, but it doesn’t mean no strategy was ever considered. There was never a game mode I played besides SND. Constantly getting in games where people are super gung ho. These types of people give you a reason to strategize and remember map layouts and positionings. And I have barely experienced snd matches where people are so reliant of special grenades. Sweeney made it sound like the entire game is a slaughter fest like rust or that small crate map where you just have an LMG and spawn kill.

In the grand scheme of things, yes, every game has sort of strategy to it. Even a game as casual as fall guys. But, contextually speaking, when comparing to other games that are competitive or games marketed towards strategy, call of duty has little to no strategy. I mean, name an FPS that doesn't benefit from call outs? Also too, you do realize that most strategizing is completely pointless when it barely extends at all beyond simply fragging out? Even SND is very frag heavy. Tell me, how many rounds actually end with the attackers winning by planting the bomb? I can tell you very very very few. However, this all depends on the COD game as well. Cold War is a lot slower paced than I expected so theres a good amount of setup for defenders and approaches to attack. However, I won't believe that modern warfare which is very fast paced has that same degree of strategy Oh, by the way, call outs are not strategy, it's communication. There's an obvious difference.

I have 32gb ram, 3080 , Samsung 890 pro SSD and a 3900xt CPU and I cant get over 60fps on ANY setting for Cyberpunk. My only real gripe is that issue with fps and theres a stutter but the game is great. I still dont want to play too much until that's fixed.

Sweeney’s reasoning for hating Call of Duty is the exact same reason that I can’t stand it as well. I enjoyed the story of Black Ops 1, but that’s literally it with COD. And yes, theme park youtubers are real, either reviewing rides, reviewing shows that feature theme parks in their episodes, history of said rides and even parks themselves. the most popular is Defunctland. Disneyland Paris was a massive failure when it opened and it caused so many Disney ride concepts to be shelved forever.

I know this is just a shoot the shit podcast but jesus christ. You can't carry a virus you're vaccinated against because your body would be a hostile environment for it. As soon as it enters your body (if the vaccine works) your new antibodies would kill it, that's how heard immunity works. The covid vaccines wouldn't give you covid because they're MRNA vaccines, they don't inject you with a crippled or killed version of the virus like a inactivated vaccine but instead you would be injected with a strand of RNA with the same identifier as covid that your imune system would react to. Sweeny, immunodeficient people should not be the first people to get the vaccine because they're immune systems are defficent... that's why they're called immunodeficient. At best it wouldn't work and at worst it could kill them which is why everyone else should get vaccinated instead to create heard immunity. You're supposed to be a nurse, the only thing you've said that was more wrong was when you stated that our solar system was lightyears across.

It’s very ignorant to assume no strategy is in place of CoD. Literally Search and Destroy exists and I hate Warzone too, but that takes a hell of a lot strategy and timing to pull off. If no strategy was in the game, why bother with tournaments at all where you literally have to call out and plan with your mates. Sweeney I know you like you high IQ games and I agree CoD needs to stop recycling every year, but don’t be a dingus about it

Since you mentioned the „far-right” research paper again: As far as I understood, the authors did not watch any of the channels themselves but simply listed a bunch of channels that were mentioned in other research papers (they say so on page 2). These other papers, however, had a completely different (and much more nuanced) labelling system. One of these other papers (“Algorithmic Extremism: Examining YouTube’s Rabbit Hole of Radicalization” by Mark Ledwich and Anna Zaitsev) labelled Chris, Derrick, the Snark Tank, Shoe, etc. “Anti-SJW”. The now-infamous “far-right” paper then just decided that “Anti-SJW” must mean “far-right” and labelled all of these channels accordingly. So, it seems the whole thing was mainly due to the ignorance and laziness of some researchers, not some secret Youtube labelling system.
