I missed it at the theater, but the word-of-mouth was so positive that I knew I had to see it as soon as it hit HBO Max. Funny thing is, I never saw a trailer for it, so all I knew was that Ryan Coogler wrote & directed, and Michael B. Jordan was starring. Literally nothing else. Needless to say, I was not prepared for this masterpiece. This was my second viewing, and I know there will be many more.
