We watched The Thing, because of this poll 😆 and the lost it 😔 I have a feeling we'll add The Others to the list, since a Take Two of The Thing doesn't make as much sense.

Torn: The Thing obviously as a landmark movie for some of the most creative practical effects you'll ever see. 'The Others' for some of Nicole Kidman's best acting, which is rare to see from any actor in a conventional horror movie (she was nominated for a Golden Globe and a BAFTA). I guess I'll go with 'The Thing' for now. Sorry Des, but if you're going to do any horror watching at all you have to start with the classics. And I'd recommend 'The Blair Witch Project' over 'Paranormal Activity' as an example of successfully making the most of a micro budget, the acting was way better and the story was more interesting.
