Bad trip averted thanks to kind stranger with GordoTEK trip music ;)

I wanted to share the following story sent to me yesterday from someone here.  It made me smile [Note -- all pics are just stock photos]:  “I’m just getting back from a week of camping in Joshua Tree National Park (dreamscape playground).  

One day I was walking back to my campsite and a guy in the neighboring site stopped me and said “I’m not ok”. He tried to tell me he thought he had covid. He was sitting in his car in the sun with the AC running and the doors all open... 

After talking to him for a minute I realized he was tripping.  I asked him if he was tripping.  He said "Yes". Then he was worried I was a cop.  I convinced him to get out of the car and to lie down in the breezy shade in my site.  

I got him some water and brought out my portable speaker.  I turned on your GordoTEK trip track and your voice did the introduction. He said "Oh my God, is this Gordo? I love Gordo! Thank God!”. He totally calmed down and came out of the bad trip. It was pretty cool. You are spreading goodness far and wide.”

Haha, I LOVE IT, thanks for the story and more importantly, thanks for helping someone in need!  I hope we are all this kind (and vigilant).  FYI to anyone wondering, the trip music is available here:

I am also excited to announce that a NEW trip music compilation is on the way!  I have been collaborating with someone here on that project, he picked most of the tracks, so it will have a different style and feel to it, but I reviewed the entire thing, made numerous suggestions (additions and deletions) and I'm quite pleased with the result so far.  I think you will enjoy it.  I am also working on two new videos which are long overdue, still need to finish the editing.
