mathematical mystic (premium field)

The idea behind this field is to bridge the gap between science and the supernatural. I think there is a connection, a link. Math has so many secrets to share with us, it really is quite beautiful.

This will connect you to math in a spiritual way, like Ramanujan, who came upon incredibly complex math in his dreams. He reminds me not to get so lost in my studies, that I forget the other parts of me. There is so much more to life than what we can see with our eyes. It doesn't make us foolish to dare to find all that life contains, to allow for all the possibilities. In fact there are many such examples of the spiritual nature of math, and mathematicans who believe in more. Like Aryabhatta, Baskara I & II, Bramhagupta, Madhava. Others include Euler and Gödel were all theists. Physicist Michio Kaku argues that “God is a mathematician” (Big Think, 2013) and James Jeans said that “God appears to be a mathematician” (Spurway, 2009, p. 184). Leibnz who invented calculus at the same time as Issac Newton, was described as a metaphysical idealist, and a panpsychist: he "believed that everything, including plants and inanimate objects, has a mind or something analogous to a mind. More specifically, he holds that in all things there are simple, immaterial, mind-like substances that perceive the world around them."

So, there is space, for math to be spiritual. In fact, many would say, and treat, the numbers and symbols we have created to explain them, as holy things.

This is for those who wish to deepen both their spiritual practice, there connection with the divine, no matter the name. I have not mentioned even a fraction of the mathematicians here, who attributed their discoveries to the divine. But they each held different beliefs about the name, how fight over names. I don't understand. Its love, you feel what is it, beyond words. Words after all are only symbols. So, I want you to know, no matter the beliefs that you hold, this field will respect them. Not attempt to change you, only to deepen the presence inside of you, your connection with the creator, and creation. With life, and mathematics.

By building this connection, you can achieve the level of understanding only mathematicians who have in the past could. To discover and bring these truths hear to Earth. To help us bring about a new world, a new renaissance. To let go of the past hurdles which have kept us stuck in a world of restrictions and lack. To shift to abundance, and peace. We humans deserve it. Math has historically been at the forefront of such changes.

I hope you will see the truly limitless nature of this field and allow it to work as it will best for you as an individual. Even if you've never been a "math person."
