Hello! Hope you are all doing well. As promised, here's a The Last of Us TV-series release. I didn't specify what it would be exactly, but I think at least 89% of you figured it would be Joel portrayed by Pedro Pascal!
This is an absolutely fantastic show, right? Great actors, different enough from the games that even us who's played them get some surprises out of it, and a lot of heart where it counts!

Printing instructions
FDM
Printing in FDM is simple. There’s no external supports required on this one!
Resin

The resin download comes with pre-supported files for small sized printers (like the Mars) and medium sized printers (Saturn, Mono X). It comes in two formats:
- Lychee Slicer Lite (.lyt) files, that you can edit the supports yourself in if you feel you want to make any changes before printing (this is the recommend way), and
- Pre-supported and pre-hollowed .stl files. I don’t recommend these because if you use anti-aliasing you’ll be applying it to the supports as well, which makes the connecting area much less sturdy and increases the chance of print failure, but I know people want these.
There’s of course also the regular STL files there if you want to do all the slicing yourself, or print at a much larger size using something like the Phrozen Sonic Mega 8K.
Upcoming
I mentioned something about The Mandalorian, right? Season 3 is finally almost here! I'm a bit sad Ludwig Göransson won't be back as composer, but he's a busy dude these days. Still, his mark on the show will always be remembered through that amazing theme that I've probably listened to on repeat over a hundred hours by now. And there's going to be even more action this season, which is both exciting and a bit concerning. I loved the quieter episodes where Mando was in some backwater place, but I get why they need to move the story forward. Overall, I can't wait to see what's in store for Season 3! So stay tuned there!
Anyways, enough rambling. Have fun printing! I'm going to round off the night by finally seeing episode 5 of The Last of Us! Later! 🥰

Hello, you all! I was hoping to release this one much sooner than this. I know no one likes to read about personal drivel, but I've had some health crap that crept up early this month that has kept me floored for big chunks of the month. I'll be sure to make it up to you all as soon as possible. I have some upcoming things that I can't wait to finish up and put in your hands, that are Star Wars and The Last of Us-related. I enjoyed the pilot episode of TLoU greatly, and I can't wait for the wife (who doesn't like zombie things) to go to bed tonight so I can watch episode two on the living room TV 😅
Anyways! In the forums there's been good interest in a new Spider-Man bust, so here one is :)

Printing instructions
General info
This guy is technically very simple to print on FDM. He comes in two parts: a main part, and a base part. These are printed separately.
FDM
This is an easy FDM print. It’s been designed not to use any supports :)
Resin
This release comes pre-supported for small resin printers, such as the Elegoo Mars, and medium-sized printers like the Elegoo Saturn and Anycubic Mono X. Lychee Slicer lite scene files with editable and labeled supports are included, and you can adjust them as desired if you think I’m a bit heavy handed on the supports.
Additionally, pre-supported and hollowed STL files are also provided.

Hello! I hope the holidays have treated you all well. I've had my fill of social interaction for the next six months or so and I'm ready to things settling back to the usual. My fellow introverts out there, you know what I'm talking about.
So, I made a Lobo. This is one of my favourite comic book characters from my youth in the early 90's (I never read the earlier 80's version). As a kind of satire of Wolverine, he's exactly the kind of "no fucks given" guy that appeals to a rebellious teenager. I mean, what kid doesn't love someone who shows up and smacks Superman around a bit?

Information
This guy comes in two versions. One that is quite wide, and one with the arms chopped off. The armless version can be nice for those who don’t have very wide printer beds as it gives you the chance to scale it up a bit to gain some height. Don’t don’t forget to also scale up the base.

As often is the case, there’s a main bust part, and a base, that are printed separately.
Printing instructions
FDM
No supports should be needed!

"Bat!"
--Laszlo Cravensworth, What We Do in the Shadows
So, the first release this month is Batman Beyond.
I've been meaning to make a Batman Beyond sculpt a long time now, and over at the Patron Zone there was recently a request for one, so I figured I'd jump to it. I was debating a bit whether or not to make the classic version from the cartoon, but I went for a more realistic one with some of the more fancy high tech visible. I would however like to also make the classic one at some point, for sure!

Printing instructions
This guy, as is often the case, comes in two parts. A main bust part, and a base part, which are printed separately.
FDM
This one is very simple to print on FDM. You just plop it down onto the bed and print. Just make sure you have enough infill so the internal overhangs have something to grab onto.

Resin
As always, this one comes pre-supported for small (e.g. Elegoo Mars) and medium (e.g. Elegoo Saturn/Anycubic Mono X) sized resin printers. Lychee Slicer lite (*.lyt) scene files are provided with editable and tagged supports, which I recommend you use and edit to your preference if you think I’m a bit heavy on supports in some places; as well as pre-supported and hollowed STL files.

I've got some more fun stuff planned for the month, and I want at least one to be Holiday themed. I wanted to do a David Harbour as Santa Claus in Violent Night, but I've yet had a chance to go watch the film and as you know by now, as a rule I don't sculpt things I don't have any real personal interest in or haven't consumed myself yet. I promised my better half I'd watch the film with her, so that means it is pretty much in her hands at this point, but I hope I can convince her to go with me soon! 😅
Hope you all are well :)

Download
To download this release, I recommend everyone check out the Eastman Patron Zone beta site. For more info on this, check out this post.
For the time being you can also download releases the old fashioned way by going to this post and choosing one of the download sources and head to Kratos folder.

Kratos
For this version of Kratos, from the recently released God of War Ragnarök I decided to sculpt him in the default armour you start the game out with, the Survival Armour.
As is often the case, the bust comes in two parts. A base and a bust part:

There are two main versions:

And there are also the usual concave and convex versions:

Printing instructions
FDM
Using an FDM printer you should be able to just plop the parts down onto the bed, slice, and go.
Resin

Those of you out there who celebrate Thanksgiving, I wish you a happy one, and those of you who don't, I wish you a happy Thursday, which is just one day away from Friday, which I think is definitely worth celebrating :)

Some of you old-timers remember the days of The Patron Zone a couple of years back or so. It was a WordPress-based system that used a Patreon plugin to give patrons access to downloads. It worked so-so.
I want to give it a try again because when something like it works, it works really well. There's a place where you patrons can go to grab the releases, get a good overview of what's available, and there's no need for me to juggle between OneDrive/Dropbox shares.
This time, however, I'm using the open source Discourse community platform with a Patreon plugin being maintained by the Discourse people, themselves, and some limited testing has proven pretty successful. If you want to give it a try, do so here:
Click here to check it out.
You sign up and log in using your Patreon account (you are re-directed to Patreon's website, you don't enter any login credentials on my website), giving you instant access. The only significant quirk the system has is if you delete your Patreon pledge, the system instantly thinks you are no longer a patron, and you have to re-pledge (at no cost, of course) to access the site.
Though to be fair, I don't this is completely unreasonable to expect. So-called "hit and run" patrons who join and immediately delete their pledge and download everything, and do the same thing again after 6 months have never had much sympathy from any Patreon creator :) That's why many creators have a "you must have been a patron for 3 consecutive months to access everything" policy, which is something I have wanted to avoid and hope to continue to avoid, even though many of my fellow creators (rightfully) say it's stupid.
Anyways, check it out, see if it works, and report back any issues as a comment in this post (or on the patron zone itself, if I have set up a section for it by the time you read this). I will keep the OneDrive/Dropbox running until I'm confident the new system works.

The $40 Kingpin tier will be gone by the end of this month; instead, the $10 Supporter tier will have those same benefits. The tier description will be updated to reflect this.
That means at the $10 Supporter tier you can do as you wish with prints of my sculptures. Sell them on Etsy, eBay, and conventions, and use them to promote your products in ads, cast bronze figurines, etc. Just don't re-distribute the digital files, and don't use my renders and photos while promoting them.
Having a "merchant" tier has never really sat well with me, and I've regretted it almost from day one, but at the time it was "the thing to do" so I went with it and making tier changes is always scary.
Also, finally. A plead. If you see other Patreons talking about this move in public (or even in their community spaces that you have access to) in a derogatory way, claiming I'm trying to copy them (this, unfortunately, has happened in the past in our 3D printing community, and it's never a nice thing), please don't engage them in my defence in a negative way. Keep it as classy as I know you folks are :)
Hell, I dabble in the occasional shit talk, myself, but it's important to do it in private. We all need to vent our frustrations, but it doesn't look good to do it in public.

NEW (...but old?) - Re-introducing The Patron Zone.
Some of you old-timers probably remember The Patron Zone from a couple of years back, where you could go to access your downloads before we switched over to OneDrive/Dropbox. I've spent some of my time this month putting a version of it back together. Let's call it a beta version for now. I will make a separate post with information about this.
You can also download it from OneDrive via this link which will last for a week. After that, a current way to download files will be available here.
$40 tier going away; $10 tier can now sell prints
This is another change that's been in the works for a while now. You've probably noticed you haven't been able to join the $40 tier for a while. In an attempt to keep things neat and tidy, everyone with the $10 Supporter tier can now sell prints, if they so choose. It makes those "hey, is this guy allowed to sell prints?"-situations easier for everyone involved, and only having one tier to choose from is less confusing for everyone. I'll be making a separate post about this as well.
Constantine
So, I wanted to give this Liverpudlian a bit of that 80's Sting vibe with the hair. I'm also trying some sculpted in hatching to give it a bit of a comic book vibe. I've seen it in a few licensed statues and thought it looked pretty cool, but I'm not entirely sure I'll do it again. Especially with pieces that have more realistic and detailed textures.

Printing information
This is a pretty common print. Two pieces. A bust part, and a base. Printed separately.
Resin
As always, this one comes pre-supported for small (e.g. Elegoo Mars) and medium (e.g. Elegoo Saturn/Anycubic Mono X) sized resin printers. Lychee Slicer lite (*.lyt) scene files are Lychee Slicer lite (*.lyt) scene files provided with editable and tagged supports, which I recommend you use and edit to your preference if you think I'm a bit heavy on supports in some places; as well as pre-supported and hollowed STL files.

FDM
On FDM this guy will need some supports under his elbow for it to print correctly. As you can see below I've painted the area that needs to be supports in Prusa Slicer, which will give you an indication of where the supports need to go in whichever slicer you choose to use. If you want to be careful you can also put some under his chin.

I don't usually do Halloween-themed sculpts because I'm a grumpy old man who hates all things fun in life 😠, but this October I decided to skip tradition and be a bit more... traditional? 🤔
So first up was the obvious first choice for me, as a big DC fan: A zombified Superman. Superman being so impervious to nearly all things is always at his most interesting when he's at his most weak and vulnerable, so I decided to make him quite gross and bloated and decayed.
Have fun with this one!

Printing instructions
This guy comes in two pieces that need to be printed separately: a main piece, and a base.
Resin
As always, this one comes pre-supported for small (e.g. Elegoo Mars) and medium (e.g. Elegoo Saturn/Anycubic Mono X) sized resin printers. FDM
The way zombie Supe is designed with his slack, open jaw, he will require some support underneath his upper teeth. The tongue is gnarly as it is, so it shouldn't matter if there's some support scarring on it afterwards.

Since the trailer for season 3 of the Mandalorian had someone that looked very much like our favourite Anzellan: Babu Frik, I was reminded that back in the days of The Rise of Skywalker I started on a sculpt of him, which I decided to finalise and rework some for release.
He is a very charming little guy whom we saw way too little of in Rise :)

Printing instructions
The Babu Frik bust comes in two pieces that need to be printed: a main piece, and a base.
As is customary I've provided two versions with different eyes. One is concave, which gives a more natural and less creepy look when printed and unpainted, and the convex one, which makes for better use when you want to paint the print but doesn't look quite as natural when unpainted.

FDM
In FDM Babu requires supports along the back of the head, as illustrated in the screenshots from Prusa Slicer below.

Resin
As usual, this one comes pre-supported for small (e.g. Elegoo Mars) and medium (e.g. Elegoo Saturn/Anycubic Mono X) sized resin printers. Lychee Slicer lite (*.lyt) scene files are provided with editable and tagged supports, which I recommend you use and edit to your preference if you think I'm a bit heavy on supports in some places (especially on the inside, which you will notice); as well as pre-supported and hollowed STL files.

So...
I have been told I should make some Halloween-themed things for October. I feel everyone is doing that, so let me know if there's any actual interest in it :)
Until next time, stay well!

Note 2: I recommend downloading the .7z files instead of the .zip files this time, because this is otherwise a pretty sizeable release to download.
I know we're supposed to keep things light and positive in these Patreon posts to give you patrons a good feeling, but HOLY HELL, this one was a pain the ass to make! I won't go into too many details, but, I'm not sure I'll make head switchables again soon because I kept making foolish, easy little mistakes while doing supports in Lychee that ended up costing me literal working days.
Anyways, I finally finished a Magneto bust.

Head switchables
There are a lot of collectable statues that come with interchangeable heads these days, with various limited-edition ones being shipped, and I wanted to give people the option to pick and choose how they display this one. I've left some space between the key and socket, so you can use something like Blu-Tack to keep the two pieces in place so that the head won't get knocked over at the slightest bump.
I also made a switchable holder (two pictures below) that you can print for each head if you want to display them.

Printing instructions
This guy comes in many different pieces, but if you only choose one head you want to use, you only have to print three parts: a head, the torso, and the base piece.
I didn't want to make the tolerances too loose, so depending on various resin UV exposure settings, you might need to do some light sanding on the keys of the heads and socket to make them fit properly.

FDM
The only piece that strictly requires any supports on FDM printers is the helmet, as shown below. You want to put them along the rim, as shown. The other heads should be fine without, but you might want to put some along the back of the hair, if only for extra stability while printing. As usual, if you know your printer doesn't do overhangs well, I'd still put some down wherever you think you might need some.

I have to move on to finishing up the next thing before the month runs out, so I'll leave you with a big thank you for keeping supporting me in doing these silly little works of art. I hope you all are in good health, and I'll see you in the next one! :)

Hello!
Our favourite Chiss, and Grand Admiral, Thrawn isn't a super well known character amongst the most (dare I say) casual of Star Wars fans whose only contact with the franchise are the three trilogies and the non animated tv shows, but to me he is one of the most memorable ones.
I first came into "contact" with him via the Timothy Zahn books back in the day, and there's some pretty good audiobook versions of these available these days. For those of you who don't know, I listen to a lot of audiobooks while I sculpt, or do chores, and walk to and fro work and the store (I don't have a car). Those of you who also listen to audiobooks know finding both a good book and and a good narrator can be difficult, but in this case they are both on the same level :)
Anyways, enough chit-chat, here's Grand Admiral Thrawn! Oh, by the way, because I know some people will wonder, those things in his pockets aren't pens, they are code cylinders 😆

Printing instructions
General
So, this guy comes in two pieces, as is often the case with my bust. One main bust part, and one base, which are to be printed separately.
FDM
There shouldn't be any need for any supports when printing on FDM so just plop it onto the printed bed and off you go! As usual as a disclaimer, if you know your printer doesn't do overhangs well, I'd still put some down.
Resin
As always this one comes pre-supported for small (e.g. Elegoo Mars) and medium (e.g. Elegoo Saturn/Anycubic Mono X) sized resin printers. There are Lychee Slicer lite (*.lyt) scene files provided with editable and tagged supports, which I recommend you use and edit to your preference if you think I'm a bit heavy on supports in some places; as well as pre-supported and hollowed STL files.

I think our favourite gymnast-background chipmunk Tom Holland is pretty much as perfect a Spider-Man we can get, but in an alternate universe I'd like to think he instead became the perfect Dick Grayson Robin, where over the course of several movies he evolved from Robin, to Nightwing, to potentially a final form as a Batman.
At first I had some doubts about him as a Batman considering his height, but it turns out he and Michael Keaton are both 5'9 (175 cm), and Keaton wasn't a too shabby Batman, now was he? :)
Anyways, long story short: as you have figured out by now from the title of this post, and all the images, I made an alternate Tom Holland Robin! I've had this idea for years now, and one of the upsides of being proficient in sculpting is you can make your ideas and dreams somewhat a reality. This version is a pretty old and battle-worn Robin, probably right at the verge of becoming Nightwing.
Are there any alternate universe switch-ups you've imagined yourselves? :)

Two qualities
He comes in a high quality and low quality version, so you don't need to load an unnecessarily heavy mesh in your FDM slicer, but you'll want to use the more detailed one when resin printing.

Printing instructions
He comes in two parts. Bust part, and base part.
FDM
This guy does need some supports under his left ear lobe. Maaaybe also for his right, if you know your printer doesn't handle overhangs super well. Make your own decision on this one! :)

Resin
As usual this one comes pre-supported for small (e.g.

Up next: Grand Admiral Thrawn
The next one is a Star Wars fan favourite Chiss: Thrawn! He should be out tomorrow (with 90% certainty). I was meant to release him sooner, but I just had to make Tom Holland Robin first. You know how it goes!

Until tomorrow...
Take care, you all, and thank you for sticking around :)

Hello again, printing people! First, thanks for all the well-wishes. Cough is better, but still there and a bit annoying, but it's all good otherwise :)
Now, HOMELANDER. I love the show so much, and I appreciate most of the changes they've made compared to the comic books (except Black Noir, because there's something twisted about that character in the books that is just... well, I'm not going to spoil anything!)
With this sculpt I wanted to capture that creepy, very uncomfortable, almost manic grin he has when confronted with the media and tries to appear as normal and likable as possible for the cameras. Also, I tried to make his uniform as close to the reference as possible, down to his silly muscle suit, the eagle pauldrons, and the detail of 13 stripes in his cape (I didn't count the stars, though, sorry!). There's a few minor things around the collar area I ended up skipping, but otherwise it should be pretty authentic!
I have also "hidden" a couple of milk bottles around the back of the base since this is such a big part of Homelander persona, and it's the one of very few relatable things about him: milk is, in fact, awesome.

Printing instructions
I have sized him to match Butcher, because chances are you want to display them side by side. Just remember to print at roughly the same percentage as you did Butcher!
FDM
This guy does need some supports under his ear lobes, but that should be about it!
Resin
As usual this one comes pre-supported for small (e.g. Elegoo Mars) and medium (e.g. Elegoo Saturn/Anycubic Mono X) sized resin printers. There are Lychee Slicer lite (*.lyt) scene files provided with editable and tagged supports, which I recommend you use and edit to your preference if you think I'm a bit heavy on supports in some places (such as the ears); as well as pre-supported and hollowed STL files.
That's about it...
... for this time. I'll see you all next time, and I hope your weekend has been a good one :)

So, unfortunately this is one of those late-in-the-month release sessions where everyone's starting to wonder if there's going to be a release at all, but having avoided getting it the past 2.5 years I finally came down with that COVID. Even though I was double vaccinated and boosted, it still hit me like a truck, because I guess I'm not super healthy to begin with, and two weeks later I still have the most annoying dry cough that is driving the wife crazy.
Anyways, I'm okay now, if a bit weak in general, but I'm going to work hard to finish up and get out the Homelander I also had planned for this month, ASAP!

Printing instructions
FDM
This one is an easy one on FDM printers. No supports should be required for either part!

No elaborate ending in this posts. I'm just going to get right on Homelander. Hope you all are well!

Doctor Chelli Lona Aphra. Our favourite Star Wars universe archaeologist/scoundrel that surprisingly few Star Wars fans even know exist! I highly recommend reading the comics where she makes an appearance since they are always fun and entertaining, and she crosses paths with some major Star Wars universe characters, such as Darth Vader.
I decided to make her electro-tattoos sculpted in so they'd be visible even if one doesn't paint the print.
Printing instructions
FDM
No supports should be required if your printer is decent enough at overhangs! I've got to admit, sometimes the mental gymnastics of making a print support free gets a bit much and you start to really push what looks good in terms of how fingers, arms, wrists, etc, are posed 😅
Resin
As usual this one comes pre-supported for small (e.g. Elegoo Mars) and medium (e.g. Elegoo Saturn/Anycubic Mono X) sized resin printers. There are Lychee Slicer lite (*.lyt) scene files provided with editable and tagged supports, as well as pre-supported and hollowed STL files. I highly recommend the former because you can make changes in the supports yourself if you think I've been a bit excessive (it happens).
Two bases
There's two bases, a fairly tall one, but also a super short one because the "bust" is pretty tall as it is.

Eyes
Because this is a character with visible eyes, I've included a "cvEyes" version that has unsculpted irises, for those of you who paint!

In Lychee Slicer you can easily replace the versions by selecting the mesh in layout mode, and in the right popup window browse to the cvEyes version file. It should replace the existing file while keeping the supports:

In conclusion
Thank you all for your continued support, everyone :) Three releases this month marks a kind of back-to-form that lessens my constant anxiety of under-delivering, and with my Patreon numbers taking a bit of a dip recently it feels pretty good to being in a place where at least I feel my artistic groove is returning!
Again, thank you for hanging around. It means so much. Take care, and remember to smile, even when you don't feel like it :)

Deathstroke comes in two pieces: a main bust part, and a base part, to be printed separately.
FDM
This one is an easy one on FDM printers. No supports required for either part!
There's a lot of small details that won't come through on an FDM printer so there's a file marked "LOW-RES" that you can use instead to save some time slicing the file.
Happy printing!
I know I said there'd be a Star Wars and a The Boys thing this month, but since Deathstroke here took one of those slots we'll end up with a Star Wars print for the third release this month, that I will get right on finishing up once I release this thing!
Hope you all manage to stay cool and hydrated :)

Hello!
Back in 2020 I released Old King Thor, and I know a few of you got curious and picked up the King Thor comic books. Those of you will probably remember the character Gorr. He was introduced a few years earlier as an antagonist for Thor, as a sort of serial killer of gods wielding a powerful symbiote force called the All-Black, and he is quite the character with a serious chip on his shoulder.
So, next month will have the release of the Thor: Love and Thunder movie, which will have a version of Gorr in it, portrayed by none other than Batm-- Christian Bale! I'm not a huge fan of what they've done with him in the movie, (because he seriously should have those freaky tentacles from the comics), but I'll reserve final judgement until I see the movie.
But anyways, I'm starting off June with my fan-art rendition of Gorr the God Butcher.

This is a very easy print compared to The Batman Who Laughs. No supports should be required at all on FDM.
For the resin crowd I've got pre-supported Lychee Slicer Lite files with supports for small and medium sized printers with properly tagged supports for easy editing and revising (I know I'm a bit overkill with supports sometimes), as well as pre-supported and hollowed STL files for those wanting to take that route.
The files are packed into a .7z file just to squeeze the filesize down the the smallest size possible. It can be unpacked with various tools, such as the official 7-Zip, WinRAR, or (if you are running macOS) The Unarchiver. If you're on Linux I'm just going to assume you know how to unpack 7z files :P
There will still be Star Wars and The Boys releases this month, don't worry, and stay tuned!
I appreciate the continued support :)

You thought there wouldn't be a release this month, didn't you?
I don't blame you, and I'll be honest, It was a close call. Had a couple of family crisis(es?) that tend to happen all at once, one of which being my grandmother (who raised me) being hospitalized in Sweden, and me being in Norway without a valid pass or ID. It was quite a scare for a while, but she's now back in her home with her cat who missed her terribly!
Enough with the personal stuff, I know why you are here 😅
The Batman Who Laughs (TBWL) is one of DC Comic's more bizarre characters, and he shows just how bad it would be if Batman somehow turned bad. I won't spoil anything because I know a lot of you probably haven't read the story arcs, and it's 100% worth a read!
This is one of those busts with arms. I know there's mixed opinions about them, but in the case of TBWL I think they are almost a must. (There is however a version without sockets for the arms).

If you want to print the entire thing the usual base, but also the arm parts, and spikes:

The spikes can be slotted into any of the head band sockets, but if you want as good fit as possible, follow the lettering on the spikes and the slots:

Resin printing
It's a bit of a pain in the ass and time consuming, but I know you good patrons like pre-supported files, so yet again I have provided both Lychee Lite files and pre-supported hollowed STL files. All are in SMALL (Elegoo Mars-sized) and MEDIUM (Elegoo Saturn-sized) printer formats. As always I recommend you use Lychee, the (as of yet) best resin printer slicer out there.
FDM printing
Printing on your FDM machine you might want to go with the armless bust version because the hands are very slender and tall, so it might be hard to get a great result without the nozzle bumping something over! I've indicated some places you want to place supports, but you'll have to use some own discretion for this depending on how well your printer handles overhangs, bed adhesion, etc.

What is next?
While this month has been a bit on the slow side, next won't disappoint. I've got some cool Star Wars and The Boys stuff in the pipeline that I think you will enjoy! Thank you all for sticking around, and I hope you all like the (I hope) quality and attention to detail, even though the quantity isn't always there compared to many of the bigger Patreons out there 😅
Take care, stay safe, and remember to stop and breathe once in a while.

So, here is...
... my intepretation of the Gotham by Gaslight Batman! I ran into some issues printing, so had to make some tweaks and changes, but it's finally here.
There's honestly not a whole lot to say about it. As many of you have probably figured out over the years I am mainly in the DC Comics camp (while I do enjoy dipping my toe into the Marvel well as well), and Batman holding the #1 slot as my favourite hero, and probably has since the 1989 movie. The Gotham by Gaslight version is an interesting interpretation of the character with the ability to do something a little bit different.
This guy has two Variants, as pictured below. V2 has a "tighter" cut so it can be printed larger, and on FDM it shouldn't require any supports as all:

7z files
A quick note about 7z. I'm now packing files using the 7z format because the files are getting pretty big with all these versions of pre-supported files. It's nothing new, and many other creators use this file format just because it compresses files so well and saves space, and bandwidth downloading them. You can unpack it with most packing/unpacking software such as WinRAR and of course the official tool, 7-zip, and there's lots of helpful info you can find with a quick google on the subject :)
Printing instructions - resin
Pre-supporting files is a royal pain in the ass! Especially when there's so many versions. I certainly hope it's of use to some of you out there 😅 I have included Lychee slicer (the best slicer, right?) Lite files, as well as pre-supported STL files. As in the previous release it comes in SMALL (e.g. Elegoo Mars) and MEDIUM (e.g. Elego Saturn, Anycubic Mono X) formats. Larger printers are still uncommon enough that it's not really worth the time it takes to presupport the files for such a small userbase, so (for the time being) you will have do those yourselves!
Again, I have made sure the Lychee files are easily editable with supports tagged for the various uses (perimeter, internals, middle (which I probably should rename "bottom", etc), so if you do find my supports a bit crappy you might not have to start from scratch and can edit them instead.
FDM instructions
For Variant 1 you will have to add supports around the entire model to support the cape (as depicted in the image below). In hindsight maybe I shouldn't have designed it that way, but it is what it is! So if you have an aversion against supports I recommend Variant 2, which should require no supports!

In conclusion
Happy printing :)

Hello!
Here he finally is, the comic book version of Moon Knight. I had him basically finished at my previous release, as you will remember, but when test printing him I found out I had mixed up the key and socket (ffs...), basically making the peg bigger than the hole, which obviously doesn't work very well! I've done that before and it's always very embarrassing releasing something like that, but luckily I caught it beforehand...
That made me really dejected and frustrated so I sat down and started work on a Gotham by Gaslight Batman (preview at the bottom) which I almost finished before returning to Moon Knight, of which I made a slimmer Variant 2, which will fit better when printing on a resin printer which is usually restricted by the X/Y dimensions.

7z files
A quick note about 7z. I'm now packing files using the 7z format because the files are getting pretty big.
Printing instructions
For the resin slingers out there I've gone through the work of pre-supporting it all for small (e.g. Elegoo Mars) and a medium (e.g. Elego Saturn) sized printers. There's pre-supported hollow STL files, as well as Lychee Slicer Lite files. I recommend these, because I'm not the greatest at supports, so you might want to go in and make some tweaks yourself! To make it easier for you I have tagged all the supports so you can easily pick the perimeter, bottom, and internal ones.
The FDM crowd will have to support them as shown in the two pictures below, depending on which variant you will print (if your printer has great bed adhesion you probably don't need the back supports on variant 2).

Up next

As I mentioned previously, the mistake on Moon Knight really popped my balloon, so to speak, but I got back my energy by doing a new Batman bust. It will come with a version with goggles (above) and one without (below). It's being test printed as I write this, so all going well it will be released some time tomorrow! 🤞

In conclusion
That's about it for today. Those of you able to stick around month after month, thank you! Take good care, everyone :)

Hello! I'm going to keep this one a bit brief. The plan was to make a double release yesterday with both Cobra Commander and Moon Knight (look below for a preview), but the past couple of days I've been laid up with a very nasty case of food poisoning, which I'm still very shaky from. I'm not going to go into too much detail, but let's just say I don't wish for everyone to get food poisoning while wearing a surgical mask while at work...

Up next
Like I mentioned above I was hoping to also release Moon Knight, but I will get to that in the next couple of days. I'm going for a more comic book-y version than the live action one. I understand the limitations they have when designing these costumes for a real person to wear, but I'm not a huge fan. I'm still going with the mummy-theme, though!
Preview of upcoming Moon Knight:

In conclusion
I'm going to sign off, watch the first episode of Moon Knight, and hope I'm fully back in action tomorrow. I hope you all are doing well!

So here he is: Christopher Smith, better known as Peacemaker, portrayed by John Cena, in my favourite Peacekeeper helmet: The Sonic Boom helmet. I never expected this show to be so good but it hooked me like few shows do. It has so much heart underneath all that goofy and tough exterior, just like the Peacemaker character himself.
The biggest problem I had was grabbing reference shots from the episodes to put into PureRef. Not because I couldn't find any good shots, but because I kept finding myself suddenly watching a full episode of it with a big grin on my face (and sometimes a tear in the eye, because y'know, an eagle hugging a dude...). Some would call that procrastination, and they would be absolutely correct! 😅
Printing instructions
You'll want to add supports around the lower rim of the helmet and in the eye sockets, and if you know your printer doesn't handle overhangs well I would put some under his lower jaw as well.
As usual it comes with two different types of eyes:

Lychee slicer Lite files
In this release I've added some Lychee slicer .lyt files with supports for medium sized resin printers (like the Mono X and Saturn). (I'll also add ones for smaller printers, I just need to test them properly first.) I'm a chronic over-supporter so you might want to go in and remove some, but this worked just fine on my Mono X!

So...
I know it's supposedly considered "bad business" to be political because you supposedly "run the risk of alienating people who give you money", but I think it's important you all know that whenever I read the news these days I always mutter under my breath, "fuck that Putin guy". In the town where I live some Ukranian refugees will be arriving soon, and we'll be doing what we can to make them feel safe and get whatever help they need. It's just heartbreaking that it's necessary. At the nursing home where I work we expected a new nurse to start the other week, but it turns out she's now stuck in Ukraine and we have no real idea how she's doing.
So yeah, fuck Putin and his senseless bullshit war.

❓ Resin printer size poll (if you use resin printers, please take a look at this poll and answer so I know roughly which size pre-supported files I should focus on first!)
Hello!
So the plan was to finish the Peacemaker, BUT...
I couldn't get our favourite Duros bounty hunter: Cad Bane, out of my head. So here he is. Viewers of Clone Wars and The Bad Batch are familiar with him, but he's otherwise not the most famous character from the Star Wars universe, but he's definitely one of the coolest one (to me, at least!), and I think they made a great job portraying him in The Book of Boba Fett, with that absolutely menacing voice of Corey Burton's.

Regular version
The regular version with the breathing apparatus is probably best printed using a resin printer, since it can be a bit finnicky printing the smaller parts, especially if you have scaled the model down (look further down for a simplified version). Just remember to print the small parts slow and put a brim around the bottom for stability.
All the loose parts (except the cylinders) have a letter (A-J) on the bottoms, with matching letters in the slots of the breathing apparatus itself, to show what goes where, so take a moment to look for these letters before starting to glue pieces together!

The Hat
The hat is the same for both the regular and simplified versions. I've had the best luck printing it at an angle both using FDM and resin, as you can see in the images below. The second image is where I've painted in the supports in Prusa Slicer.

Simplified version
Because the breathing apparatus can be difficult to get to print properly on FDM if you don't print it big enough, I've made a simplified version without pegs for the breathing apparatus. Most display busts facing forward on a shelf anyway without the rear showing, so this is a good option for those who want it simpler :)

In conclusion...
❤️ for Ukraine.

Hello, printing gang! I've been wanting to make a more classic Thor for a while now, with the (almost silly) winged helmet, and flowy cape; but with bit of a personal twist, and finally decided to get around to it.
(The plan was actually to also release a Constantine bust this month, but I couldn't get the sculpt to where I wanted it, and I just had to drop it for the time being. It really sucks when it happens and always feels like a blow, especially when you already suffer heavily from imposter syndrome; but, I would also hate to release something mediocre.)

This guy will need some support at the back of the helmet wings. Not much but just to get the overhangs sorted. I've already pushed the feathers to the brink of what still looks good to minimize the amount required, but any more would have messed the design up too much! If you know your printer struggles with overhangs you might also want to put some underneath the shoulder pads/pauldron/WhateverTheyAreCalled.
In the Next Episode of the Eastman Patreon...
So, I've been doing preparations and started work on two things: A decently detailed screen-accurate Boba Fett (The Book of Boba Fett version), and a somewhat detailed Peacemaker. It's a bit of a toss up which one will be released first, but feel free to voice your preference in the comments below which one you'd be interested in first. Boba Fett would definitely require more time to finish up just because of the many more extensive detailing going on!
Speaking of... I'm absolutely in love with that Peacemaker show. That character has so many more layers that I ever imagined they would pull off, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised with James Gunn being involved! As many layers as an onion. Which is what I'm peeling while watching the show since I'm decidedly not shedding tears because it sometimes hits right in the feels... 😔
Anyways, while I'm not great at expressing it, you guys make a big difference in my life at the moment with your support. Running a Patreon has you always feeling like you're standing on a flying carpet 10,000 feet above ground and all of the sudden it can just disappear from under your feet when some genie decides to snap its fingers. For some reason most of you stick around, keep coming back, and new people fill in for the ones that do leave.
I truly am grateful, and don't take a single one of you for granted ❤

As that Christmas holiday, which I know most of you, but not all of you, celebrate is upon us, I figured I would release the most fitting holiday character I can think of: Frank Castle. Better known as The Punisher. As we all know, Christmas is all about punishing the wicked and giving the gift of fury and hellfire to the bad people. Right?
As I'm writing this I realise I probably should have sculpted John McClane from Die Hard instead. Fuck. 😐
... anyways, let's move on!

He comes in two parts. Printable without supports on FDM. I'm working on a solution to regularly provide you lovely Patrons with pre-supported models for resin printing. I know that is very much appreciated because no one likes to do them. Stay tuned.

As usual there's two different eye versions, with one for those who prefer to paint the eyes in. Naming convention of those files is as you can see above.
There's also a few versions of mesh density, ranging from 500,000 triangles, to 6 million. If you're FDM printing there's no need to use any of the more denser meshes. Unless you're a crazy-person with a 0.2mm nozzle, then knock yourself out!
Now I have to jump back into ZBrush and finish up another thing, but I hope you all have a good weekend, regardless if you celebrate this holiday or not. I'll be spending it doing shifts at the nursing home, which my family isn't thrilled about, but it was simply my turn this year 🤷♂️
Appreciate you all. Talk to you soon!

Hello, gang!
This month's 2nd and 3rd release is Classic Vision and Scarlet Witch.

I have a fondness for the classic costumes of comic book super heroes. I understand the need to modernise them in the movies and TV shows (as amazing as Adam West's 60's Batman was, he does look a little bit comical...), but a lot of the time things end up looking overly detailed and noisy with the intricate screen printed fabrics, so it's nice to go back a bit to the basics when heroes wore their underwear on the outside of tight fitting spandex!
Printing info
Following the 89/92 Batman I released early this month, this double release follows in the footsteps of being pretty easy to print. Vision should be able to be printed flat on the print bed without any supports, while Scarlet Witch does need supports under her chin!
In conclusion...
Thank you all for your continued support! I'm doing the idiotic thing again when I drop a release at 5:30 in the morning, so I'm going to have grab some sleep as soon as I publish this one and will take a look at the comments when I wake up, so if there's any issue, please be patient as I will sort it as soon as I open my eyes. (Fortunately I have an evening shift at the nursing home... 😅)
You're all the best. Kick some ass out there and take good care! 💕

(if you get issues downloading with OneDrive, try not to download the entire release as one big zip file, but instead download the individual files you need)
So here's a very simple print to make up for the last one which was quite a chore! The Michael Keaton Batman, both '89 and Returns versions. Personally I don't like the torso armour in Returns, but I figured I'd put it in as an option, and that one definitely has the better Batman logo of the two!

I was 9 when the first Burton movie came out, so it wasn't until a couple of years later that I was able to get my hands on and watch it, although I have a memory of first reading a comic book that retold the story of the movie before that. I have a difficult time finding any information about such a comic from 1989, so it may just be in my head.

Hope you're all having fun with this one, and I want to thank all the old faces for sticking around, and the new ones for dropping by!
Until the next one, stay safe! ♥

I wanted to release this one on Tomb Raider's 25th anniversary a couple of days ago, but I ran into some engineering snags that pushed it back a bit.

This one comes in a bunch of different parts, with a couple of small variants (like a bit simpler guns for FDM printing), and there's some unavoidable support work being required because I didn't want to compromise too much on the design with this one.

I have a couple of quick videos showing some support work techniques in Prusa Slicer, since some of the parts are probably best printed "in the air", like her shorts, and the head, and the bent leg, etc.
This one is a bit more work than the usual busts, but I think it will be worth it, and it's been a good while since the last full statue!

Thank you for sticking around! 2021 has so far been a pretty rocky year for most of us, not at all the shining beacon of hope we wished for back in 2020. Let's keep on trucking, though! Stay healthy, safe, and don't let those bouts of mental heaviness win :)

One of the best characters in the 2021 Black Widow movie, I think! David Harbour is always great and played the role with just enough over-the-top :)
Printing
This one should be printable without any external supports on FDM printers. There may be some smaller tiny overhangs here and there, but those shouldn't cause any issues!
So, for October I should probably do something Halloween related, right..? 🤔
Wish you all a great weekend. Toodles!
