As someone who also has an older dog (he is 14 years old right now) he means the world to me and I'm sure yours was the same for you. Take as much time as you need and just remember to focus on the good and how happy you must've made them all the time. I'm sure they were very happy to be your dog and lived a wonderful life. Always treasure the time you shared.
