New Images for Northward Star
Added 2022-10-18 16:04:47 +0000 UTCThe Northward Star's comic is finally underway. These images are taken from what will actually be used to make the first scene with.
We open to see a patron chucked out, then transition inside to see Slugzy bashing another patron with a cue, then April sitting at the bar.
In the original script, Slugzy was supposed to be a character called Hamburger (a spoof of Wimpy, keeping with the Popeye theme) but I made a lady-version of Wimpy and it was so horrible I have to call an exorcist.
So I re-casted, and Slugzy was chosen instead, which is a fairly big decision, because she effectively becomes April's sidekick after their debut bout!
