A somewhat important and suitably long-winded update post

Hi there folks, hope you're all doing well. I wanted to give everyone a brief update on some stuff that'll be changing regarding this page in the near future as well as how I've been doing in general.

Firstly, as of November I'll be starting to include monthly colored sketches as a reward for those subscribed to the Mint Chip ($10) tier. In terms of quality they'll be akin to a more refined version of stuff like the hex maniac sketch I posted recently, so I hope you'll all stay tuned for when those start rolling out. As a result of this change, I won't be able to continue doing illustrations for the second-place winners of the monthly character polls, but I think it's a worthwhile trade-off.

Next, in terms of more patreon content, I've started working on a pretty sizable project with a close friend, though I'm not at liberty to say what that entails just yet. However, I'll be posting regular updates on it as progress is made. All I can say right now is that it's weight gain related and there is at least one funny cat involved. Again, I'll be keeping you all updated on it as work gets done, with a proper public announcement when it becomes appropriate.

Lastly, I wanted to get you all up to speed in terms of my personal situation at the moment. Art stuff has definitely been taking a lot longer than I'd like, due both to having a lot less time to devote to it as well as trying to push my standards of quality a lot farther. Please rest assured that remaining commissions are still being worked on, and I'll have them finished as soon as I possibly can. I don't really like talking about my personal life very much online, but I think it's relevant to state that one of my family members has been receiving ongoing surgical procedures which have blown out a large chunk of our funds over time. As such, I really appreciate all the support from those already subscribed here, and for those who aren't I'd encourage you to consider it if you're in a position to do so and/or would like to help a homie out. Even just the Vanilla tier alone helps me out a ton.
