Nick to comment on something you said in the end of your reaction. Actually there were some references to the actual stage performance of Wait For Me on broadway in that animatic. The lamp lights that were hanging down near the end of the video are actually swinging around in the live performance and Reeve Carney (Orpheus) is bobbing and weaving through them as the song progresses. It is one of the most genius ways to incorporate light into a musical that I have ever had the pleasure to experience live. If you can find time to react to the Tony Award performance of Wait For Me you will be completely blown away by how it is done. Reeve is so much more talented and unbelievable in person. I also notice that you love Eva Noblezada’s voice (Eurydice) she is an incredible person more than a singer. I had the pleasure to see the show live in New York the same year of the Tony Awards and went for brunch at a nice restaurant near the theater before the show. It just so happened to be the place that Reeve and Eva went to eat before their call time. We didn’t bother them since they were enjoying a quiet meal together but it was a surreal experience to see them just having a good time at lunch. They met during the production and have been in a long standing relationship ever since. Eva goes live on instagram every so often to talk with her fans. She is currently in the Great Gatsby on broadway. Much love Nick! I am so glad you are reacting to my favorite musical ever. 🌺

And I believe you have one more song for act 1, “why we build the wall”. (Well, and “when the chips are down” which goes right before “gone, I’m gone”)
