2024-10-13 16:31:48 +0000 UTCIt’s structured similarly to Ché and Eva Peron in Evita and Judas and Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar. Antagonist vs Protagonist. Here, Burr is an even a stronger foil to Hamilton. It’s both their stories. I know at some point, Lin was thinking he’d play Burr. Probably from the first, as in the initial presentation at The White House, he was portraying Burr. Maybe that is partly why the characters are on such equal footing.
