2024-10-20 16:57:23 +0000 UTCHonestly, totally understandable! The costs would be very high for development of all of these. In my opinion though. You should be charging high for these. You have put a lot of work into them and plenty of time and effort is involved. I do think if you do it again for future orders, Maybe only do it for the people who put a special request in for a specific definitive edtion. Or even make a post when you feel ready for the next physical release that you're taking names down for a preorder. Paid In Advance must occur and a deadline must be enforced so you then aren't getting over worked and also having to spend unnecessary money. I can tell you now, a physical HCTP I'll buy day 1! Same as Day Of Reckoning 2, SVR 2006 and SVR 2007. I'm dying to play as Maven on DOR2. But I do prefer to play on original hardware over Emulators I always have. Keep up your fantastic work Scott. 😊

So for example I bought a game from europe on ebay about 7 weeks ago and it arrived through my letter box this past monday. I didnt offer things like international express or anything like that just to keep cost of the product down.

It'll really depend on if its affordable. I'm still in the red with SYM (unless most of it gets sold) but I did it more because I thought it would be awesome to have on a shelf even though most people will use a digital iso to play anyway. But you know I included postage in orders to help keep the cost down and some still thought it was pricey so theres that, then the fact that I paid for discs,manuals,cases & cover art in advance before I'd even announced a physical ver lol. So while HCTP will definitely get one this time next year, as for others I'd have to have a think about how to do it this time around lol, like does it become kind of minimum fund goal or a made to order prepaid preorder? Because I couldn't afford to do it this way again for some of the less popular titles. If that makes sense.
