Jacob's Gigantic Job

The job seemed so easy. Typically the people of the kingdom viewed the giantesses that lived in the far mountain ranges as simpletons. Sure, they were also known for their cruelty should a tiny person be discovered in their domain. However, the riches! Oh the riches. They had jewelry that looked like enormous golden artifacts, big enough to dwarf those at the local shrines. Currency of big coins the size of wagon wheels! Enough treasure that a pauper could become a king should they be able to steal away with some.

Sure of his abilities, Jacob had taken on the job. A local herbalist that he had quite fallen for had encouraged him to wander into the mountains and claim some of this treasure for her. Not only would it help the herbalist who's business had been waning, but it would more than pay her dowry should Jacob desire to marry her.

Swayed by her proposal the rogue headed off into the mountains. It took quite some time to reach the amazing lands that surrounded the giantesses mighty keep. They didn't venture from the mountains and the vast rolling green expanse that the keep was set in was scaled to their mighty size.

Wandering inside, everything had fallen apart. Unlike the cool temperatures outside the keep was hot. Inside of a rickety mead hall the giant women stomped around barefoot. They laughed, told tales, and made a terrible ruckus high overhead. With their boisterous attitudes, Jacob had been quite unnerved.

Staying here he could surely find some of the treasure he desired. Being found here would result in these barbarian women doing unspeakable things to him. He tried to think of the beautiful herbalist waiting back in the kingdom for him, but all Jacob could do is stare up at the impossibly huge women that he was nothing more than a bug to.
