Better Patreon Setup, Better Rewards!

Hey loyal supporters! I'm happy to announce that our Patreon has been successful long enough for me to use the 'pay upfront' mode now. What does that mean for all of you currently? Most importantly, there are NO changes to your current subscription. If you stick around, you'll be charged your next payment cycle on March 1st, and the first of each month you're around like usual. Nothing has changed.

For new Patrons and fans who have unsubscribed and come back however, you will now be changed when joining this Patreon again instead of at the start of the month. Why does that matter? The biggest advantage is it allows me to process commissions faster. Since payment is processed right away, it's taken care of immediately and I can add commissions to my list.

After a newcomer or returning patron joins, they are charged in the typical subscription schedule at the first of each month like everyone else.

This also makes rewards easier to release. Newcomers are paying up front so there is no worry on my end of declined payments or the like. All that I post has already been paid for by you. This allows for the release of more exciting content.

Just a note too, the system DOES take into account if you want to increase your pledge. So if you do change your $5 patron support up to the $10 tier, you're only charged $5 more for the change because you've already paid $5 when signing up.

Stay tuned for more announcements on rewards, but this is a very big day for us! You'll be able to enjoy more goodies and nothing changes to your current payment cycle if you're already a member! How cool is that?
