On the menu for August (ice cake)

This was gonna be simple, but the summer vibe took me. It’s sort of an old school thing now, but in Hawaii you used to get ice cake, which is like a homemade popsicle in a cup. Go to tutu’s house and get you some ice cake. And realizing that not only is ice cake a strictly Hawaii thing, but that apparently kids in the UK do not typically do lemonade stands or sell aguas frescas or popsicles for pocket money, hey I guess the lads are visiting Hawaii again. Always nice to bring them to my neck of the world.

(Un)fun fact: I have narcolepsy! I finally got hooked up with a sleep specialist to find out why I’ve been so fatigued, and uh, there it is. On the one hand, I’m happy that it’s not something weirder or more concerning, and there ARE medications for it, but on the other, narcolepsy means that sleep does not refresh you no matter how much you get, so I’ve been starting off on 50% battery life. I pray you bear with me, because it will get better with treatment, but that would be why I haven’t been as productive as in past years.

What’s on the menu this month?

+ I’ll color a couple of the smut pieces I’ve got sketched, hopefully sketch more

+ some 1890’s ineffable wives with those bigass sleeves

+ ice cake!

+ I have finally ordered prints, and I’ll get some stickers and other stuff with that gay frog for you guys

+ since I didn’t do any finished SFW art last month, August’s Nazar postcard will be Crowley in that harness over a dress shirt, which I hope you guys enjoy (I know I do)

I have been meaning to say… everyone who has stuck with me, new and old friends, whether you know me well or not at all, you mean more to me than I can say. I’ve been quiet, but it’s not for lack of love and enthusiasm. Every comment is a treasure, and I’m so grateful to have you all here with me in a space that feels safe and good. I’m happy you like to see what I do, and I’ll keep doing my best for you,
