Happy new year!! Here’s to the past year, with it’s low lows and very high highs, and to the next, which hopefully treats us all to health, wealth and happiness 🥂✨

I spent a busy December visiting with family and celebrating birthdays and holidays — got to meet my beautiful baby nephew who is the most perfect little everlovin’ butterbean, and spent time with my sister and dad, who live far away. My son turned NINE, and he’s still the sweetest kid in the history of kids.

The big update for January is that I will be having a major surgery next week. Recovery should be pretty easy, and I’ll be able to draw while I recover, but I may be out of commission for a few days. No big deal.

+ a portrait of my best friend in armor that I spent most of December painting ❤️

+ something ribald, no doubt

+ instead of postcards this month, I’ll be sending Nazar tier 3” stickers of the cute angels from November!
