In flowers

I was inspired by the art of my friend Leni Kauffman, who is a master of the pink/purple/blue/green candy palette. I have always wondered how it would feel to make a blanket out of flower petals, and only Aziraphale could conjure such a thing. The only thing I ever liked about church as a kid was Easter Sunday, they would have MASSIVE amounts of fresh flowers in buckets that all of us would line up and weave through the mesh of a huge chicken-wire cross while the choir sang. It smelled so good -- lilies, roses, carnations, daffodils, daisies, lilacs, baby's breath, irises, tulips. It felt like heaven, and I guess that was the point. When I was very little I used to talk into flowers like they were radio receivers. They had "wires" that went into the ground -- I figured someone must be listening on the other end.
