I started a project last year.
The basic idea was to develop a sturdy VR gun stock, since purchased products always broke very quickly and were also very expensive. So I sat down and thought about how I could build something myself. It quickly became clear that I needed a 3D printer.
So I started to develop it for many months. The first tests were good, but I had to change and improve a lot. That came out 8 months later.
It is almost identical in its original size and weight. Quick change of weapons and magazines is still available.
I'm not a good shot, but it improves the hitting and the speed of play. And it's also very robust and impact-resistant.
You can find a short gameplay under the following link mVRa1 Gun Stock.
Unfortunately it only fits the Oculus rift 1.
I've been working on a new version for the Valve Index Controller for a long time. Unfortunately, I often don't have the time to continue working on it.
But somehow I had the need to tell you about my idea, even if it has nothing to do with VAM.
Does not work with rift S and Quest. Because the controllers are not in the shape of the Rift 1. Basically the design would do the tracking interfere with the quest and rift S.
