General update: Where has Suzi been?

Hello Patrons,

I apologize for long radio silence.. not that that means much right now. It seems I've done a lot of apologizing for my absences.

Where have I been? The honest truth is I just.. haven't been doing much of anything, and it's because I've been stressed and depressed, more-so the latter than the former.

If you follow my twitter, I have been making social media posts throughout the year. Some were updates on my mental health - others were just me maintaining my presence. On the topic of mental health... I'm not doing well.

Changes to my medications happened, my anti-anxiety became my anti-depressants because my old anti-depressants weren't working alongside the Ritalin I had been prescribed after coming to terms and confirming with my doctor that I am ADHD.

The forced long-distance restrictions for me and my partner due to Covid have played a major role in my depression this year; along with the frustrating bureaucracy that is German business culture.

Recently my partner was deported back to Australia from Germany where she had been making a life for herself for a few years now. Covid and bureaucratic slowness ensured she was unable to stay. Needless to say that was a major blow to her own mental health.

However in more recent days, we have been able to confirm a couple of things after she got back to Australia, which has given me a bit of a new drive. Inspiration if you will. I'm feeling much less like a hermit crab, and I have things to share.

2022 I am aiming for a stronger comeback for myself and the comic, starting with the scripts that I have worked on and posting those now.
