Shadowheart Progress Report #1

It's time for the first progress report on the Shadowheart movie! With the success of the Jill project, I've been able to get a faster start on this. I don't need to spend as much time on commissions, so I've already begun animation.

I've got the initial core loop for the main scene done and I've blocked out progression for the whole scene. I want to it start with just Shadowheart and the guy before Viconia joins in. Most of the scene still involves Viconia toying with Shadowheart though. Ambitiously, I want to work with fluid sims for squirting in addition to a cream pie. The main scene is looking like 70 seconds long and so the full project should be at least 2 minutes with the intro and bonus scene.

We've unlocked and completed the vote for the first bonus scene so far. Progress towards the second was going well, but we have had a setback. Remember when I said supporter gain at Jill's movie launch was good but limited by a spike in cancellations? Well, it's been exactly a month since The Ultimate Lifeform launched, and all those cancellations basically wiped all progress towards the second bonus goal. From here on out, the numbers look more or less average, so I still think there's a good chance we hit the second goal.

I've picked out voice actresses for both Shadowheart and Viconia, and they should be available for recording later this month.

It's still very early, and this is pretty broad, but December is a very reasonable release window.
