Update 80+81

Hello everyone,

vote for Update 81 was won by Monaco (adding league + national team to official competitions) so it will be done for this update.

In Update 80 will be added China+ (added level 4), updated American Samoa, Macau and Uzbekistan.

• American Samoa - changed format of league from 2024, added start either in 2023 or 2024, added more information to teams

• Macau - added level 4 (last level), added start either in 2023 or 2024 season, added more information to teams

• Uzbekistan - small update for when contracts should end

• China - there is new basic version, reworked youth system

• China+ - added level 4, added more information to teams, added missing cities/stadiums/clubs, reworked youth system

This week main work is on China, the version that is out now is little bit older so I started this one from zero, because I wanted to do things little bit differently than in past. That's why there is a new basic version which which is similiar to the older version only with unnecessary changes and with new youth system. The new youth system has very specific system with four phases, there is not much information about how it works so I rewrited everything and I followed how teams moved in each phase and from that I understood how it worked, in game I made it little bit more simple because in reality it's just unnecessarily too complicated.
In China+ is added level 4, I wanted to do it like with other plus versions but I found out very quickly that it's impossible, in China teams move cities or change names practically all the time so in lots of cases I wasn't sure if this team is this or not, another thing is that lots of teams don't have anglicized names and the translations sometimes didn't make sense and last thing is lack of information about those leagues/clubs, in case of some leagues there is just one page on their chinese wiki with top4 teams and that's it, no info about formats or other teams. All new added teams will be written in text file with their chinese name and translated name.
Because of all that everything is very complicated, added are leagues with their formats that I found good information about (28 leagues), there are added new teams but only those that I could find at least some information about.
What is close as possible to reality is the new youth system and Chinese Champions League (level 4 promotion playoff). Chinese Champions League (CMCL) has multiple stages, where first stages are regional and with final national stage, qualification to CMCL work like in Brazil, so if you qualify in 2023 you are playing it in 2024. There are again two versions which one has salary cap for foreigner players and other doesn't.
China is more complicated with information than for example Japan or South Korea, where most of the teams there have at least instagram or facebook and because of that it's easier to work with it. If someone here speaks chinese and wanted to help me with translations of the teams or helping me with the leauges, you can write me message and your help would be appreciated because I would be able to make a lot more.

First updated nation is Macau where is added level 4, added newly is start in season 2023 or 2024, added is level 4, which is last level, whole league is played on one stadium and fixture is made so there is no collisions with other matches in level 4 or level 3 (on that stadium are played some level 3 matches). My plan was to make plus version with missing teams but there is no information about those teams except names and the names of teams are not helping either (example of some names of teams: Space, Ferrari, Motocross, Roma, Lotus, Gunners), there will be plus version with youth league, because this way I can make fixture so there are no collisions with other leagues and so there is minimum of postponed matches.

Second updated nation is Uzbekistan, where contracts ended in January but it should be in December.

Third updated nation is American Samoa, my plan was Nepal but there was no football in 2024 or 2025 in Nepal so there is nothing to update (in 2025 they played on Super League which is kind of All-stars league). Newly you can start either in 2023 or 2024 in American Samoa, changed is format from 2024 where teams play twice each other, before they played only once with division of teams to top/bottom half. Added are kits and cities to teams (lots of them had none)

In Update 81 will have Monaco (adding league + national team to official competitions) , there is only one level in Monaco which will be added + some youth system, national team will be added to national competitions and club teams to UEFA competitions. With Monaco will be again updated some nations, I have some small updates for Scotland, with Syria and Lesotho.

Last thing is about FM26, yes I will be creating databases for FM26, my plan is to have for first two weeks daily updates and trying to push most of the basic national databases, after that would come time for plus versions. But from what I heard the game is not really in good playable state and I still plan to make updates for FM24 because there are still things that I want to make for FM24 (finishing remaster of Czech Republic, Colombia level 4, Spain level 7, Switzerland level 8, Argentina level 4, etc). In the end first two weeks after release will be for FM26 after that we will see how the game will work, it will all depend on that.

Voting for Update 82 will have Japan+ (adding/reworking prefectural cups), Colombia+ (adding level 4), Russia+ (adding level 5) and Brazil+ (adding fantasy Serie E/F).
