Time Accumulator is a new real-time audio stretch and granulator max for live effect plugin. The grain size parameter determines the length of frozen segments of audio, and the stretch parameter determines how quickly the recorded buffer is moved through.
Note: the device has quite a bit of latency between the incoming signal and what is reproduced, and moving the stretch parameter will reset the buffer, causing the device to output the unprocessed signal. If there is continuous automa...
Euclidian Gate is a gate sequencer based on the Euclidian algorithm, a mathematical method for generating evenly distributed patterns across a specified number of steps.
The Subdivision parameter controls the division of sequencer pulses in relation to one measure of time, Steps determines the total number of steps in the Euclidian sequence, and Events specifies how many events (hits or triggers) are distributed across the steps. Th...
esotericNoiseGenerator is a max for live audio device, which can self oscillate and act as its own tone generator, or distort and mangle incoming audio. 7 unnamed parameters adjust the nature of the internal system.
MC(multi-channel)LFO is a new max for live modulation device from Iris Ipsum. The device consists of nine sine wave low frequency oscillators, all mappable to separate parameters in Ableton live. The ratios of the oscillator’s frequencies are synced to each other with 7 adjustable modes: harmonic, subharmonic, exponential, deviate, decide, increment, and spread. Each mapping has variable range settings.
Iris Devices Chaotic Resonator is a new Max for Live audio effect for experimental sound design. Constructed of four delay lines patched into themselves, with 4 complex modulators, it can warp/mangle incoming audio or self-oscillate and act as its own complex tone generator. Inspired by ideas and systems from A. Cipriani and M. Giri’s Electronic Music and Sound Design.
Iris Devices Binseq is a modulation device for Ableton Live that creates switching trigger signals based on an evolving binary sequence. Steps forward in the sequence are triggered via incoming midi, and messages can be mapped to most parameters within Ableton live. An input number between 0 and 4096 is converted into binary to create the looping sequences. Shift-clicking the bottom left grey squares stores presets, clicking recalls presets, and shift + opt clicking deletes a preset.
Iris Ipsum Fractal Dream is an Ableton Visualizer inspired by the fractal dream strange attractor and its equations. New animations are triggered via incoming midi notes, and four parameters can be modified to alter the form of the resulting image.
The song used in the demo video is titled natural pairing and is on Iris Ipsum SoundCloud
Mesh Visualizer is an audio-reactive Max for Live Device that uses audio from Ableton Live to modulate a generative mesh lattice. Instantly create reactive visuals from any audio source. Inspired by the work of Duncan Wilson.
The song used in the demo video is titled Gaussian and is out on all streaming services.
Iris Devices Cellular Mod is a new Max for Live device that provides complex modulation signals for Ableton Live through a 9 bit cellular automata system. New generations are triggered via incoming midi, and messages can be mapped to most parameters within Lives ecosystem. The user has the option of 256 different rule sets that change the nature of the autonomous system.
