Update 63+64

Hello everyone,

vote for Update 63 was won by Japan (continuation of fixing database) so it will be done for this update.

In Update 62 will be added USA+ (NCAA Division I) , Liechtenstein databases that will enable teams to qualify into UEFA Champions League and updated Switzerland+.

• USA+ (NCAA Division I) - added all 212 universities from 2024 season, added all conferences/leagues in DIvision I, added schedule for each conference/league and non-conference matches, added history of competitions

• Liechtenstein databases - there are four databases where two are work with basic Switzerland and two with plus version of Switzerland, in all versions original Liechtenstein Cup is played by teams from Crimea.
  for basic version:
  - Liechtenstein with own League system - in this version Liechtenstein has it's own league system with cup and youth leagues, there are not part of swiss system
  - Liechtenstein in swiss system - in this version teams are still in swiss system but they can qualify into all UEFA competitions, teams play in Swiss Cup

  for plus version:
  - Liechtenstein in swiss system - in this version teams are still in swiss system but they can qualify into all UEFA competitions, teams play in Swiss Cup
  - Liechtenstein in swiss system but play Liechtenstein Cup - in this version teams are still in swiss system but they can qualify into all UEFA competitions, teams play in Liechtenstein Cup which is taking one seeding spot from Switzerland, teams from Liechtenstein don't play in Swiss Cup

• Switzerland+ - updated homegrown players from Liechtenstein, added missing cities from Liechtenstein, added more history, smaller updates into match fixtures

After two weeks of Poland which was really big workload, this week is more easy so partially I used it to get my energy up again. The NCAA system is really interesting in lots of ways, they have practically own rules for everything (for example substitution, you can sub how many times you want and player that is sub down in first half can go back to game in second half), of course those rules are not in FM, so I tried at least somehow to replicate it.
System of play is interesting too, there is 22 conferences/leagues (season 2024) where teams play only against each other with playoff style finals, where winners of each conference/league is getting spot in final NCAA tournament. But there are non-conference matches which are matches between teams from different conferences/leagues which don't count into ranking in their conference but into total ratings, based on these total ratings are teams invited into the NCAA final tournament (it's played with 48 teams) and based on these ratings/and polls of NCAA are chosen best 16 seeded teams which they are starting in second round.
Sounds fun and complicated, good thing is that I already have each conference/league done with non-conference matches and total rankings, all I need to finish is the final tournament and informations about universities. I'm looking into different rankings of the universities so I make them more reputable with better facilities and they really work as powerhouses.
Another thing that is changed is MLS draft which is now taking players only from university teams, I will probably create into universities players that were drafted in 2025 and I will put those from draft 2024 into their universities (because they are in game but already in MLS teams).
Switzerland has specific rules about homegrown players from nation, problem was that it did not see players from Liechtenstein that were homegrown in Liechtenstein as homegrown. I added to every player that is homegrown from Liechtenstein that is homegrown from Switzerland too, so now Liechtenstein teams should work better. Newly generated players are getting homegrown in Switzerland automatically so it's not causing any problems. I added there little bit of history and some smaller updates in scheduling.
Liechtenstein has really big hardcode, because things I saw that it was doing, I never saw with Russia or Greenland. From testing it looks that now it works practically perfectly. To make it all work I had to move from original Liechtenstein to another nation (West Germany in this case) and original Liechtenstein is now partially Crimea, it has to be done like that because game still needs one team from Liechtenstein cup and because that ID of that nation is hardcoded it wasn't possible to make it work otherwise.
There are four versions, two work with basic Switzerland and two work with plus version of Switzerland. In the basic one you can either have just Liechtenstein league on it's own or be still in swiss system with teams from Liechtenstein having possiblity to play in all UEFA cups.
In case of plus version both of them are in swiss system, in one teams play in swiss cup, in another there is Liechtenstein Cup (newly created, the original is still Crimea Cup) but Switzerland was so nice and it is giving one seeding spot to continental cups to winner of that cup, so for example Vaduz can win Swiss league and qualify into Champions League and Balzers would won the Liechtenstein cup, they would qualify in Conference League, so there would be two teams from Liechtenstein in UEFA.
There will be instructions under update what you can combine with what so you don't break the game.

In voting you chose that you are interested in logos for plus versions so I will work on them, I'm warning you that I'm not a graphic so please be nice about the quality. You can see the quality in Greenland where there is logo pack for clubs and leagues. You can comment me which country I should work on first.

For Update 63 I will work on fixing Japan, I want to complete all the man's pyramid with hope that I will complete universities/high schools too. I will update Peru and Uruguay which I didn't have time to look at this week.

Voting for Update 64 will have Denmark+ (adding level 8), , Morocco+ (adding level 4), Bulgaria (adding level 5/finishing pyramid) and South Africa+ (fixing level 3/ practically all teams are without kits/stadiums/cities).
