Project Update

This is a fairly small update content-wise, but I thought to make it sooner rather than later. I'm closing commissions for the next couple weeks or so to really set the groundwork for the Project X sequels.

I mentioned earlier that I began writing the scripts for both Claire and Ada. I've revised them both and started doing some earlier storyboard work. The scripts are very close to being finalized.

Early storyboard work (basically, notes on ideas for positions and a lot of t-poses) for the Claire project puts it 48 pictures right now. That number, of course, is very much subject to change but it is more or less what I want to shoot for. The Annette project had 60 pictures but far more in the way of filler. While Project X was a very comprehensive look at many of Annette's experiments, Claire's version is more like one, lengthy encounter. The pictures will have a more natural progression based on that. Early estimations put the project around 5-6 minutes, but that could change drastically once I actually have audio recorded.

The Ada project is looking rather ambitious. As I mentioned before, this project is meant to be fully animated but with fewer scenes. Story parts aside, it has 5 main scenes. One of which has already been mostly animated so that alleviates a decent amount of work, but I may still cut another scene so the project isn't too large. Length of this project is also looking like around 5 minutes. I've actually not done a fully animated movie since learning the NLA editor, so it's perhaps not so lofty a goal for a longer animation. Nonetheless, it's more likely this project comes after Claire due to the higher challenge.

Anyway, I'm gonna take the next couple weeks or so to finalize the scripts and storyboards, and I think I'll have a good idea how the projects will shape up.
