For the person struggling feeling like people don't like them and anyone else. I've had alot of similar struggles and recently have been diagnosed with adhd. A big part of the condition is called rejection sensitivity dysphoria (Also other neurodivergent conditions). If it is a common and debilitating issue, it might be worth looking into.

Omg Claire I’m so worried about your heart burn! Pls go to the docs about it … if you don’t treat heart burn it can damage your eosophagus (I’m sorry idk how to spell it but you know what I’m saying) and lead to problems later in life with swallowing and cancer and stuff 🥺♥️

as someone who was named ashley bc my mom thought she was having a boy and doesn’t know how to change her mind so she went with the first suggestion her boss gave her, i feel you ashley!! i also think as we get older it feels like the name ashley is screaming 90s baby but it is what it is!!

I’m so sorry but I do think if you tried cutting dairy or wheat out you’d see a difference. 😬 just try it for like 2 weeks! Then introduce them back…

For the name person: going into college, I wanted to have people start calling me “Alexandria” instead of “Alex” (i had been going by Alexandria - my full name- at work and really liked it)!! When i told my friends i was considering this, one of them told me “but Alexandria sounds like a bitchy name” …. And so I didn’t end up doing it. I still regret listening to that person!! That persons opinion DID NOT MATTER and was high key rude. Like Ashley/ Claire said, life’s too short to worry about what other people will think/ say to you. And if they do groan about it, they’ll get over it. Do the name change!!!

Claire get some Pantaprazole! It really helps. Taking one before a meal that you know will be acidic really helps.

re: grad school program person, every time there’s a person in a friend group who’s “subtly” mean it gets less subtle over time, she will eventually expose herself 👀 maybe this is petty to say idk

The paycheck to paycheck advice was kind of giving me the avocado toast argument. I take p2p as someone who has no money after essentials. But yeah, save what you can and invest. Join a temp agency or a trade union if you’re buff. Marry rich. Lie on your resume.
