2022 is upon us!

A huge hello to all of my lovely Patreon Patrons, and Happy New Year! I hope you all emerged from the holiday period happy and healthy.

I also want to say welcome to all of my new Patrons, as I have gained more than ever over the last month, which is fantastic! It's lovely to see you here, and thank you  so much for supporting my work :]

I have just made my way through all of my Patreon direct messages, so if you've sent one in the past month or so, you should now have had a reply. If not, I apologise, and please do get back in touch.

A few questions/points of confusion popped up repeatedly while I was making my way through the 150+ threads yesterday and today, so I thought I'd open up the comment section here as somewhere for you all to offer 'constructive criticism'. I want this platform (and all of my platforms) to be as easy to understand and accessible as possible, so I am always open to updating my methods. And what better time to do this than at the start of a new year?!

An example of this is the clarity of book cost, in particular, confusion between currencies - many thought that the cost of Books we All Need was $120 (USD) rather than £120 (GBP).

So, please feel free to comment below if you have any thoughts on ways I could improve my services here on Patreon. I'll reply and take all suggestions into consideration.

All the best,
Jack

P.s. November, December, and January draws will be coming in the next post! Sorry for the delay on these.

Hello there! Thank you for reminding me about this - I have just posted an update. I am getting very, very close to hitting the limits now, so make sure you reserve any books you'd like as soon as possible.

Hi!! I remember sometime last year you announced that there would be an order cap for each book you produce. Are all those spots filled?

Hello there! Thank you for the comment. The price difference is for a couple of reasons, including covering the Patreon fees that are added on top of my earnings here. However, main reason is that the £120 includes international tracked shipping for 1 book. Most of my Patrons (and buyers in general) are from overseas. If you are a UK resident, this amount can be lowered, as I will send First Class instead. I hope that clarifies things a little :]

I hope this makes sense. It's not feedback, but rather another query, so please do tell me where I should ask this if this is not the right forum :) Regarding the cost, is the difference in cost between purchasing directly through your shop and paying monthly through Patreon because of the fact that you are benefiting by being able to pay monthly rather than in one go? i.e. I'm based in the UK so through your website paying in one go I would pay £105 for book and shipping. However on Patreon it is £120? Thanks
