Baole & The Maiden
Added 2019-01-24 13:13:12 +0000 UTCI recently spent time developing the number and calendar systems for the Elvan race for the T.o.M.E world I am working on. On reviewing the next day, I was inspired to write this poem using the calendar references to show the passage of time in a relationship. The plants used in the wreaths give their name to the Elvan months in which they are referenced. Snowdrops - 'Dalch' for January - 'Dalchias', and so on.
I will post the Elvan translation too, once my number of Patrons has risen a bit! But for now, enjoy...
