Thoughts About this Patreon

Just gunna do some rambling on my lunch break since I don’t have much else to do lol. I’ve been having some thoughts about my Patreon that I wanted to share with you.

Simplest one out of the way: if Trump’s elected I’ll probably close down my Patreon. Project 2025 made it pretty clear that they want to outlaw pornography, and I doubt that they’ll make exceptions for 2D/3D drawings. How likely is this? Not sure. I HOPE that they won’t go after people who’ve made pornography in the past at all, not just after whatever law they pass, but who knows. These people are crazy (and hiding skeletons in their closets no doubt).

I feel like things will not go in that direction, but I was wrong about the 2016 election so I could be wrong about this one too. lol.

Okay, next item. Just gunna take a break in December for sure. I wouldn’t mind taking a break for November as well, but I know I’m in a depressive patch right now and just need to sleep it off. December for sure since we should all enjoy the holidays.

Last note: KAE2 is going to end sometime in March if the schedule continues as is without any weird interruptions. I would like another break after this current comic’s completion so that I can persue more art forms, such as 3D and 3D/2D animation. I used to know how to 3D model, but fell out of practice. I have the programs, I just need the time dedicated to re-learn them. I would also like to use this time to write new scripts/draw thumbnails for upcoming stories so that a new series or two is ready to get going once this second break is over. Merchandising is something else I’d like to get started to help bring in & keep new Patrons.

Last-last of all, I do want to give a big thank you to you all. I was able to pay off my car, and that’s a debt that’s finally off my shoulders after several years. While I don’t make enough from Patreon yet to live off of, it has been nice to build and save some funds for merchandise, and unexpected bills.

The discord will stay open of course, and I’ll post updates of what I’m doing in both December & after KAE2 is finished.
