A (Hopefully) Small Delay, and an Explanation

I was really hopeful that I would get the update uploaded tonight, but I don't expect to be home in time to do so before it's technically April. I'll try to get it up this weekend, gods willing and the creek don't rise. I've paused the April billing cycle, so you won't be charged while you wait 💙 as long as you don't cancel your sub, you'll get to see it as soon as it's available!

So. At the end of February, my grandmother died. Less than a day later, my spouse was in a car accident--he wasn't hurt, but the same couldn't be said for the coyote he hit at highway speed, or for the car. So I had to figure out how to at least get my dad a few states over so he could go to his mother's funeral, while also suddenly being the only person in my family with a working car. I spent a lot of the last few weeks in various waiting rooms.

Somewhere during all of this, I learned I was allergic to one of my medications, and was essentially poisoning myself a little every day. Which accounts for all the headaches and brain fog I've been dealing with, which has made all this coding even harder than it needed to be.

We finally got everything sorted out, grandma has been escorted to the next stage of her journey, my spouse got his car back, and I'm on different meds and feeling much better.

And then my car got stolen on Wednesday. It was found yesterday, dumped in an alley on the other side of town, and I'm currently at the impound lot waiting for the tow truck so we can take it somewhere to assess just how badly it was damaged. I should be here another hour or two, at least.

It's been... a lot. To say the least.

But I have been working during all of this. I started coding in a separate file on my laptop, just in case whatever god I angered decided to smite it too, but it won't take long to copy/paste what I've done into the main file. But I need to be able to sit at my desktop computer for a few hours without something else blowing up in order to do so. Hopefully, that will be this weekend, like I said before.

So yeah. I'm sorry for the delay, thank you all so so much for your patience, and if any of you know how to exorcise whatever curse has befallen me, let me know 💙 I'll get the update to you as soon as I can, and maybe something extra if I have time.
