Thank you! It was my PrivacyBadger add-on for Firefox that was interfering (which is weird since this is the first twine game this has happened on with that on).

2023-02-04 16:59:38 +0000 UTCthat error usually means that your web browser has cookies disabled or that something is blocking them, since Twine games use cookies to store and load game data. enabling cookies for itch.io and then refreshing the game should fix that
