Weekly Update + - 10/12/21

hello and happy Tuesday!

the weather continues to be kind to me and as such I'm getting a lot of work done! I actually had a burst of inspiration and got a lot done on Partially Stars this week as well, finishing coding it through the end of the character introductions and Stowaway customization, which is the most complicated part. I'm hopeful that I should be able to get the rest of it edited and coded soon so I can finally get the first episode out to y'all! :D

But back to Speaker, I've gotten quite a bit done on it too, though perhaps less dramatic on the coding side of things. The scene I just started on has one of the big reveals I know a lot of you have been waiting on, and looking at my notes it looks like it leads into a second big reveal too! Thankfully for the Speaker, these aren't more plot reveals 😅 I think they've got their hands full enough as it is with those for now. Anyway, I'm very excited to finally be getting to this, and optimistic that I'll at least get Reveal 1 in this month's update!

That's my plan for this week. Write, edit, code, repeat. Same as it usually is, really, but I have a good feeling about this week! I don't know why exactly, but I'm not going to waste the motivation!

On a more personal level, I'm also excited to take my kid trick-or-treating this weekend at a little (masked and outdoor) event a local farm is doing. It's not the big raid-the-neighborhood event she'd probably prefer, but since we didn't get to go out at all last year, we're just happy to get to do this at all! (she's dressing as Sailor Mercury, and it is adorable)
