September Update

Hey guys, since our vacation is over and we're about to get back to work, I thought I'd give you guys a quick update on a few things.

Firstly, we had a meeting last night and we discussed our future plans. We have a lot of cool stuff comin hopefully.

We'll be getting a new build out this week, hopefully today or tomorrow sometime. We're also getting other Patreon rewards for this month done and out today.

We're hopefully going to be focusing more on interactivity in the next few updates with some new quests, the start of gadgets and the shop, NPC dialog, and possibly some progression stuff like needing a certain number of McGuffinites to travel to other levels, though this won't be fully implemented until we get saves working.

We've also got some ideas for revamping the Community Service tab of the pause menu, so we'll be working on concept art for that this week and can share soon.

Also, we've been contacted by another publisher who's interested in Rad Venture as well as a company who'd be interested in publishing Rad's soundtrack to different storefronts and potentially a vinyl record release, so stay tuned on that stuff!

As for Rad Venture's Vertical Slice, we're planning on having it complete by December 1st. That should include a finished Vistabell Hubworld, Shiver Swamp, and the first boss with a handful of quests to complete and functioning menus and a handful of the soundtrack, including new tracks we'll be commissioning in the next few months. With the vertical slice done, we'll be taking a break to do research on funding, whether it be through a publisher, crowdfunding, grants, or a combination of the 3. We might even end up freezing this Patreon for a little bit while we figure out what we want to do, so stay tuned.
