Boss Model Progress - Missile Monarch

Some progress shots for Missile Monarch's model, which is almost done, we're in the rigging phase currently and there will be more updates to the textures. This boss won't be available for a while now, but she's pretty cool so far!

So, some technical details:
In the 3rd image, you can see she's split into 3 main parts. This is because the cockpit (the tiny pink square thingy in the middle) is only used for cutscenes. The pigtails, however, are their own skeletal mesh separate from the main skeletal mesh. So, instead of rigging the pigtails to the main model and trying to rig all 6 of them exactly the same with the same controls, we just take one that's aligned straight in Maya, rig it there, then attach it to sockets that are specifically placed on the skeleton inside of Unreal. This makes things SOOO much easier, now  we just have to figure out how to sync up animations between everything. The last gif is an example of the pigtails animating, all using the same mesh, skeleton, and animations.
