MESTEROLONE (Proviron) - "Masculine drug" / Androgen deficiency treatment & Well-being
Added 2019-10-30 15:38:48 +0000 UTCMesterolone (also known under the brand name: Proviron) is 1α methyled 5α-dihydrotestosterone commonly used during hormone replacement therapy in males with androgen deficiency, suffering from, i.a., hypogonadism. Mesterolone can successfully treat delayed puberty in boys and improve fertility and well-being in adults. Among athletes, it is occasionally used to enhance performance, especially during post cycle therapy; nevertheless, due to the low anabolic potential of this agent, it is not as potent as regular anabolic-androgenic steroids.
Proviron = masculinization. This compound induces all of the physical and mental benefits that come from DHT and its derivatives:
- increased sexual drive
- improved fat distribution
- improved well-being, mood, and self-confidence
- improved vascularization and muscle definition, especially when paired with stronger DHT derivatives
- "androgenic mindset"
- deepened voice
- reduced estrogenic activity
- reduced SHBG
- slightly improved recovery
also:
- may temporarily substitute aromatase inhibitors during the AAS cycle due to its moderate potential to block estrogenic activity
- should not block HPTA - doesn't reduce endogenous testosterone secretion
- is not hepatotoxic - dangerous for the liver
- at regular doses, is safe for stomach and kidneys
Adverse effects:
- acne
- difficulty passing urine (slight enlargement of prostate gland)
- increased hair growth all over the body
- worsened HDL/LDL ratio
- reduced glucose tolerance (if overdosed)
- may suppress endogenous testosterone production if overdosed (100mg+ daily)
- hair loss (if overdosed by genetically predisposed individual)
Dosing:
20 - 40 mg twice ed (morning/evening)
Half-life: approx. 13 hours

In general, Proviron is readily absorbed both ways. The difference is nominal, but like other 1-methyls, fats can moderately improve its availability, contrary to 17-alphas, most oral AAS. So: - Yes - to the second part of the question - but - being lipophilic doesn't necessarily mean it is better to take with food. Even though, e.g., Proviron and Dianabol are both lipophilic, you would only take the former with food to maximize the absorption unlike the latter. What determines the ingestion method (with or without food) is determined by the way the oral agent has been alkylated (see 1-methylation [Proviron] vs. 17a-alkylation [Dbol and the vast majority of AAS]). This process determines the way they are metabolized (i.a., the time of exposure to liver enzymes) - Proviron can be absorbed slowly and act just as well, while Dbol works best when is absorbed fast.

2019-11-09 12:46:27 +0000 UTCOnly if you mean to take oral masterolone. It is neccessary to clarify it, because you've asked about "masteron pills". Masteron is a completely another compound. Masteron (unlike mesterolone) will have a significant influence on HPTA, and will lead to supression of natural testosterone production.

Might as well be a full functioning man when it does. In regards to a binaural like this causing hair loss, I'd say it's highly likely. Low SHBG and high DHT is basically the perfect hair loss combo, unfortunately.
