hCG (Human chorionic gonadotropin) during an AAS cycle. Why?

Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is a hormone produced naturally by the syncytiotrophoblast in the human placenta. Structurally, hCG has the same alpha subunit as LH and FSH, but it also has a unique beta subunit that is similar to LH's beta subunit. However, hCG has an additional 24 amino acid sequences at the end of the amino protein that can extend the life of the protein by 36 hours. This makes it a very useful, clinically used analog of LH

1. HCG = analog of LH (hormone that stimulates testicles to work)

Once exogenous steroids are administered (any substance that binds to androgen receptors), they begin to gradually suppress the release of GnRH -> LH, causing the pituitary and hypothalamus functions to be disturbed/"blocked," resulting in a reduction in natural testosterone production and spermatogenesis.

2. No GnRH/LH = no testosterone production.

LH stimulates Leydig cells in the testes to produce testosterone and IGF-1 (insulin-like growth factor). Since LH is the primary stimulant of testicular activity, once its production becomes suppressed, testicular activity gets interrupted as well, remaining inactive for as long as you provide exogenous hormones.

3. No LH = no testicular activity

So:

4. HCG = maintained testicular activity (despite the hypothalamus (GnRH release) -pituitary (LH release) axis being suppressed)

After reviewing the above processes, you may already realize that hCG is necessary during an AAS cycle to maintain testicular function. And that's right. The use of HCG is essential even if you plan to stay on the cycle indefinitely and don't care about having balls the size of peanuts.

Benefits:
- optimal libido
- optimal IGF-1 levels
- balanced neurotransmitters
- upregulated dopamine receptors
and their desnesitization prevention (may occur by the use of AAS strongly affecting dopaminergic pathways like NPP or even high T doses)
- testicular atrophy prevention
- sustained spermatogenesis - fertility
- improved effectiveness of PCT
(post cycle therapy)

How to dose hCG?

The standard dose is estimated between 500iu - 1000iu per week. Best if it is dosed 2-3x per week by 250-300iu per single injection. It allows to mimic the natural LH activity, maintaining all the critical functions of the testes.

When?
- Preferably 2-3 days after injecting long testosterone esters (cypoionate/enanthate).
- The day after injecting short testosterone esters (propionate)
- In case of Sustanon used e7d, opt for 3rd and 6th day.

This will prevent estrogen and energy levels fluctuations.

How NOT to dose hCG?

NEVER take doses higher than 1500iu per injection. This will cause desensitization of the Leydig cells, making your testicles unresponsive to hCG.

If you've been using hCG regularly, leave doses higher than 400 IU per injection for post-cycle therapy.

If you haven't used hCG before reading this article, but have been on a cycle longer than 3 months, start with three shots of 1000 IU every 4 days, then move to a regular routine.

How to figure out that my hCG isn't fake?

Obviously, the best method is to get your hCG from a good pharmacy. But well, we all know how it is.

After injecting hCG, you can take a cheap pregnancy test. Its result should be positive.

Moreover, many users become sleepy 1-2h after injection or experience firm overnight erections, indicating that hCG works.

The size of testicles should also be become significantly increased the next day after, especially if you've missed a dose or two.

How can you be sure of the real concentration of your hCG? (if UG) You should experience any of the above effects at the 300iu dose.

How to store hCG?

After mixing with the saline solution, it must be stored in the refrigerator. However, you can store it in a dry, dark room at room temperature before liquefying.

It depends on the purpose of its use. Contact me via direct message, providing more details, i.a. purpose, dosing, time, source/quality.

Hi BN What do you think of OVITRELLE? I inject it post-cycle, 2 clicks at night the first week, and one click the following 2 weeks.
