The Sangheili Slingbow (Concept WIP)

I'm planning on writing a short Halo story involving my fan-made Sangheili race, The Ashen. 

They're sort of like the Sangheili take on American Indians, living a nomadic hunter gatherer life style.

So their tech is rather low tier, primitive compared their scale-skinned cousins, the common Sangheili.

Hello! How's it going?

I thought I'd show off a sneak peak of something I started awhile back. A fully 3D model of my character Kat.

It's kind a funny story how this model came to be. 

Ages ago I wanted to make a Fallout 4 mod that involved turning the player character into a robot.

Problem is, I don't know how to make mods for games... Still don't. So I tried hiring someone from the modding community to make me a model and code it...

Under Assault-ron (Version 2.0)

The updated and possibly final version of this picture.

Added more detail, upped the resolution, polished some final touches and added some text to the scene.

General Update

Hello, it's been awhile since I last made an update.

I'll keep things simple.

Lately I've been going through a rough patch. I overworked myself to the point I hadn't played video games, talked to my friends or even touched grass in months.

So I've been taking time off my writing and art stuff to get my head straight and work out a more healthier way to create my content without isolating myself.

Hi, been a hot minute.

Here is a concept of Kat, as I imagine her later in the story, wearing a mix of cloth and leather wrapping cover herself up a bit, tactical webbing for carrying all her ammo, a Machete to use instead of her claws and a small backpack to hold other things she may be carrying, like books, energy cells and weapon kits to name a few.

This is also the first time I have drawn Kat's AK Shotgun, aka Helly.

A Personal Note.

Now, I'm probably just over thinking things and getting all worked up for nothing. But honestly feel like I'm failing as a content creator.

You see, I have ADHA and Asperger Syndrome. Quite the combo and they have advantages and disadvantages. One advantage being I have one hell of an imagination and a natural talent for art and creating stories. 

But I SUCK, at time scheduling, time management and being organized. Also my motivation and drive is powered...

It's not finished yet, still got some small details to work on, but for the most part, I'd say it's almost there.

Setback Rant

I don't know if my computer hates me or is just cursed! For some reason my Voicemod app, the thing I use for the voices I use for my audio stories, for no reason...

Just got corrupted, making me loose a lot. Thankfully I had the foresight to create a backup file and managed to restore most of my voice changers. But theirs sadly been a casualty.

I lost Traci's voice. For some unknown reason, Traci's voice was not recovered, which means I'll have to make it from scratch again.

Nature's Gears Audio Project Update.

Good news, I'm feeling a hell of a lot better and able to fully voice act again!

YAY!!

Which means I'll be back to making the rest of the audio version of chapter three, some point this month or the start of next month.

The reason for the delay is, I want to focus on wrapping up the first part of the written version of the story, then convert it into audio.

I'm excited, are you excited?

Monthly Update

Well, I wish I had good news but...

Despite my major cold symptoms being gone for weeks now, I still have what is called a "Lingering Cough" Which can last up to 4 to 8 weeks.

This has basically prevented me from doing any voice acting. I can do it for about a minute, before it gets too much and I end up coughing for the next hour.

So, unfortunately I'm going to have to hold off on anymore audio content till sometime in January. By that time, "I hope" m...

As promised I would give an update on the audio crisis and well... It's good and bad at the same time.

Good as in I think I might have fixed the issue, though I have thought that several times before and it still seems to find away to break itself, but hopefully this one sticks.

General Monthly Update, 18/10/2022

Hello again for this month's progress report. I hope we're having a wonderful spooky time!

I played that new horror game called, SCORN. Very strange but unique game, but I feel it won't be for everyone.

I just wanted to make a small request for future stuff. I would really like it if I got detailed feedback.

While I do like to see (Likes) and (Favs) from my work, the one thing I crave the most is honest constructive criticism.

Hello, just a quick update, I'll keep this one short.

Chapter 2 is aproaching a finished state currently between stage 2 and stage 3, just got some voice lines to redo, some background sounds to tweak and finish off the cover art.

Hopefully I'll have the chapter finished by the end of this week or the start of next week.

Nature's Gears Development update_02.

Chapter 2 of the Nature's Gears Audio Series has now entered phase 2.

Before I continue, here's a quick run-down of my work process.

Phase 1. Record voice lines and narration.

Phase 2. Recordings complete and now ready for sound design and editing.

Phase 3. Clean, polish and remove bugs.

Phase 4. Add finial touches like audio visualizer.

Phase 5. Chapter complete and ready for posting.
