Weekly Update - June 20th

Hi Everyone,

I've completed all the renders now required for the Chapter 9 teaser. I'm working kind of backwards to my usual process here, as I manage the development around my personal life changes. Around 90% of the dialogue is in place ready for an end to end, and I need to do a little bit of coding to get it all fit together.

I think we are probably looking at a couple of days of work here, before testing then release. My plan is to release initially to Patreon Best Friends only. Followed quickly to Steam and perhaps also Itch more on that later.

As I said previously don't expect a massive amount of content with this particular release. It's a few scenes aimed at setting you up for the final big chapter of the game. Chapters 10 and 11 will be on the smaller side.

For Itch, the next release will be slightly different if you have been buying the game on that platform. I've released the game chapter by chapter. This next release will be a little bit more expensive but will be the full game, all future updates will be included in the purchase price.

There will also need to be changes to things over here on Patreon. I will announce them closer to the time those changes will happen. But rest assured nothing changes here until some time after post completion.

From a personal POV, things are stressful right now but I have most of my ducks in a row. I am anticipating some disruption to my ability to develop though for the next few weeks. I will be back in the swing of things soon, but it would be unrealistic for me to promise that I can keep up the same pace I have for the rest of Chapter 9. I do apologise for that.
