New matched crowdfunding drive: what it means for existing patrons

G'day comrades,

As you might have seen elsewhere, I have some excellent career-boosting news to share: I have been given an Australian government-backed crowdfunding opportunity.

I am one of just 25 artists to be selected for this Creative Partnerships Australia opportunity. This is a fantastic opportunity, which I hope will boost my career by encouraging new people to join my Patreon campaign.

In a nutshell:

• Yes, I have recently increased the prices for some of my crowdfunding rewards. However, I have 'grandfathered' these changes, so that my existing donors will not be affected by this price rise.
  
• If you want help me take advantage of this matched crowdfunding opportunity, you can! If any of my existing supporters choose to increase their pledges above their pre-existing pledge, the Australian government will match the difference between the old pledge and the new pledge.
  
  For example, if a former $10 per month supporter decided to increase their pledge to $30 per month, the extra $20 per month would be counted by Creative Partnerships Australia's fund-matching. This would result in me receiving a one-off payment of $240, in this example. Not bad!
  
  (FYI, no donors' personal information will be shared with any external party - the fund matching only uses aggregated information).
