Pausing this project longer term

Hey, 

I’ve been off this project for a couple months while I've been busy as you might already know. After thinking about it for a while, I don't really want to get back into this project at the moment so I am going to continue having it paused longer term. 

For most of 2025 I have not been too engaged with the work and I think it's time to move on to other things, at least for now. If I feel like coming back, I will! But for now, I don't want to....

Hiatus for about 2 months

Like the title says I'm going to be extremely busy for the next couple months and I won't have much time at all to work on this project.

I've been super busy this month and I was trying to keep animating but I'm way behind at this point. 

I'm going to take a couple months off this project. When I come back, hopefully I will have more time to work on it!

This week I animated the first finling entering the bath and swimming around! I didnt quite finish the section of animation where the finling swims around before being caught so thats for next time! Also I'm not going to add water physics until the end since it will lag blender for me. Just know ill make the water look better at some point!

So this week I decided what I want to work on next! I'm going to be working on an animation with Lily and Mia in the bath swallowing fish girls!

I worked on creating a fish girl this week! I also decided to call them Finlings! I also updated a bunch of backend stuff in Kirie's bath scene and got Lily and Mia in there and ready for animation! I came up with a rough plan for the animation here involving them catching fish girls swimming around in the bath ...

So I've been working on Lily's model a bit this week and I was able to get a nice looking x-ray view of her stomach set up! I'm planning to use this for a later animation at some point! I might also do an x-ray view of Lily's neck while she swallows her prey.

I'm getting back to working on this project starting this week so I am going to un-pause the billing here.

I am making a few changes here as well. For now, instead of posting an animation WIP every week like I have been doing, I am just going to post them when they are ready instead. The weekly WIP post does kinda help keep me on track but I often feel like its not ready to share when Sunday comes around and it limits me from doing other thing...

Upon my reflection from my rather drastic decision yesterday, I really don't think it would make me happy to quit this project. I spent a while today thinking it over, and the idea of quitting was making me much more sad than happy. There are just some things about this project that are making me unhappy so I'm going to work on fixing those instead.

Lately I have not been enjoying working on this project as much as I used to. And its been like this for a while now. I think its time for me to step away and figure out what other things I want to spend my time on. Unfortunately there are also a lot of other reasons why I don't think I should continue working on this project outside of that reason as well.

Like I said in my WIP post today, I am going to be taking a 2 week vacation here starting today. I have not taken a vacation from this project since near the end of 2022, and this is a good time for me to take a bit of a break!

Lily’s Side Project WIP 2

Hey! This week I decided to keep working on this animation of Lily swallowing a harpy!
