Vilous | Official Character Concept Draft

A seemingly young, urban male Nevrean. He hails from Gold Ring and works as a Musician as his primary trade. 

It is possible that he may act and participate within the Sabi no Wa.

His personality is that of an introvert, coupled with a more mainstay humble behavior when compared to that of the average, regular male Nevreans.

He intentionally dyes parts of his feathers with darker toned colors, this gives him a more androgynous look in terms of both appearance and his overall behavior towards the general, gender basics of the Nevrean race.

As one can gander from him, towards the later stages of Gold Ring, Nevreans who display an appearance and behavior that deviates from their traditional standards in gender and social conduct, had steadily appeared.

In this particular case displayed, while regular male Nevreans are known as having an extroverted personality and cheerful behavior in nature, this one does not fill these criteria completely.

Due to the great differences in society and culture between Gold Ring and Nevrea region, the homeland of the Nevrean race, urban Nevreans born in a new generation had gradually came to have access to more rich and varied options in their racial gender standards. Of course, physical features caused by their sexual dimporphism can not be changed greatly beyond their biological limit. So they still keep to their racial predisposition, more or less, however, they can adopt options which deviate from their gender standards through use of fashion and personality trends.

As such, these Urban Nevreans , especially those who have strong, noticeable idiosyncrasies which are by far different from their original standards, have built the progressive group called "Sabi no Wa (colloquially known as The Ring of Rust)" in order to serve as a base of activity for all urban Nevreans in the new generation and build a new culture together.

They have engaged in various, progressive and evolutive activities and inventions, especially tending to the musical aspect, composing avant-garde electronic music is one such famous example of these acts.
