NOTE: I only just now realized that the version I shared with folks probably has a small hiccup on the default environment preset. The Rancor Pit gate is open, meaning it blocks off the entry stairway entirely by default. You can lower this door obviously, but this highlights one of the reasons game conversions can be a bit tricky to do sometimes. XD
Let's start this month off strong, shall we?
Awhile back someone on DeviantArt requested that the next environment I convert be Jabba's Palace. As luck would have it, BanditStation did a rip of the environment from Star Wars Outlaws and put it up on Open3DLab around that same time, but I just didn't have the patience to convert a game environment at the time.
That patience came back, which was needed to finally finish this surprisingly-heavy environment with some of my own custom texturing, modeling, and general quality of life improvements - such as making the Rancor pit a bit more "finished out," among other things.
Each prop was hand-placed (and is therefore interactable), all doors open and close, and render settings (HDRI provided free by PolyHaven) are included.
Almost all of the props used in this environment have also been isolated as standalone props for folks to add more clutter to this scene or to use in other scenes - comes with a total of 31 standalone props!
Have fun with this one folks! You have plenty of time until May to cook something up. =D
No readme for this, but some things to note:
The trapdoor and Rancor pit chute gate use morphs to open and close. Click the environment itself to find those morphs under "SP3D" in the Parameters tab.
Many of the props are instances, so you may need to add "hard" props from the Isolated Props folder if you need more customization options.
Many of the elements - such as the bones in the Rancor Pit - have rigging so you can hide them entirely if necessary.
Cups 2 and 3 have "Fluid Level" morphs.
The barrels have rigging on the handles.
Does not include Bidlo Kwerve.
A few places have visible sunlight peeking through the corners of the wall. I stuffed pillows in front of most of them because I'm lazy. Think of it as a fun game to find the crack!
Yes, this is free.
