It's time to go back - not to when dinosaurs roamed the earth, but to when dinosaur movies were still good! Jurassic Park is not only one of Spielberg's best, it's also one of the best movies ever made and spawned multiple incredible theme park attractions for me & Zach to ride over and over and over.
But Spielberg wasn't done! He came back for the vastly underrated The Lost World, but then dipped for Jurassic Park III and was replaced by the kid from the Barney movie. Towel please!

2025-03-15 05:04:59 +0000 UTCI actually find it kind of refreshing that this movie made absolutely no pretense to being anything more than what it was, a cheap franchise extender hoping the name recognition was enough to get you to the theater. In contrast to the Jurassic World films insisting on acting like they're making some big important statement, I'll take this every time (although surprisingly enough, the animated series Camp Cretaceous is easily the best thing the franchise has done since the first movie).
