I disagree with you on the money aspect. Hodgins and Angela are married and have a child together. It’s their money. If he dies, they get the money and estates. Hodgins also stopped wanting to be rich once he reached a certain age and started working at The Jeffersonian, so he’s not really mad about losing that part of himself.
